Edinburgh Rugby is one of the two professional rugby union teams from Scotland. The club competes in the United Rugby Championship, along with the Glasgow Warriors, its oldest rival. Edinburgh plays the majority of its home games at Edinburgh Rugby Stadium.
Frédéric Michalak is a former French rugby union footballer. His early career was spent playing for his hometown team, Toulouse, in the Top 14 and in the Heineken Cup. He moved to South Africa to play for the Sharks in the Super 14 after the 2007 Rugby World Cup, but after just one year with the Sharks he moved back to Toulouse. He has also played over 70 tests for France to date, and is the country's leading Test point scorer, achieving that milestone in 2015. Michalak originally played scrum-half but has played mainly at fly-half. He has appeared in advertisements for companies such as Nike and Levi's.
Fabien Pelous is a retired French rugby union player. A lock who also occasionally played as a number eight and flanker, he played the bulk of his professional career for Stade Toulousain, and is the all-time leader in appearances for the France national team. He retired as the most-capped lock for any nation in rugby history, with 100 of his 118 France appearances at that position, a record later broken by South Africa's Victor Matfield. Pelous was inducted into the World Rugby Hall of Fame in 2017.
Jean-Baptiste Élissalde is a former French rugby union player, playing either as a scrum-half or as a fly-half, and most recently defense coach for Montpellier in the Top 14.

Florian Fritz is a French former rugby union rugby player. His usual position was in the centre. He played most of his career for Stade Toulousain in the Top 14 club competition in France. Fritz has also played for France.
Clément Poitrenaud is a former French rugby union footballer. His usual position is at fullback but he also plays at centre. He most recently played for South African side the Sharks in Super Rugby, having represented Toulouse in the French Top 14 club competition between 2000 and 2016, and France between 2001 and 2012, including at the 2003 Rugby World Cup in Australia and the 2007 Rugby World Cup in France. He has since transitioned into a role of partner, father and coach.
Census Johnston is a former Samoan rugby union player. He has represented Samoa several times, and was in the Pacific Islanders' team which toured Europe in November 2006 and earned 6 Caps with English Barbarians F.C. His usual position is prop. Johnston previously played for Saracens F.C. in the English Guinness Premiership, as well as for Biarritz Olympique Stade Toulousain. Racing 92 and Aviron Bayonnais, also in the French Top 14. He also played for Taranaki in the 2006 Air New Zealand Cup. Census attended Rosebank Primary School and Waitākere College and Avondale college in Auckland before moving to Europe in 2005, winning 3x French Top 14 championships [2006 Biarritz 2011, 2012 Toulouse] and Heineken cup championship in 2010 also with Toulouse. In 2010 he was a replacement for the final as Toulouse won the Heineken Cup. In 2015 he was selected for Manu Samoa.
Jean-Baptiste Poux is a former French rugby union footballer who played as a prop, and was capable of playing loosehead and tighthead. Poux began his professional rugby career at RC Narbonne in 1998 before moving to Toulouse, where he was a part of the side that won the 2003, 2005 and 2010 Heineken Cups. In 2013, Poux joined Union Bordeaux Bègles. Poux has also played for the France national team, and was included in their 2003, 2007, and 2011 Rugby World Cup squads.
Christian Labit is a French rugby player. He played for both RC Narbonne and Stade Toulousain and then moved to English club Northampton Saints. He was a member of France's 2003 Rugby World Cup squad. Whilst at Toulouse he won the Heineken Cup in 2003 and 2005.
Trevor Brennan is an Irish former rugby union player. He played for Barnhall, Bective Rangers, St Marys College RFC, Leinster, Stade Toulousain and Ireland, being capped 13 times. He played either in the second row or as a flanker. In 2007 he attacked a fan and was banned for life, later reduced to five years.
Moussa Sissoko is a French professional footballer who plays as midfielder for Ligue 1 club Nantes. He plays as a box-to-box midfielder in the centre of the pitch, and is capable of playing in either a holding midfield role, or even as an attacking midfielder, right winger or right-back.
Alberto Vernet Basualdo is an Argentine rugby union player. His position is hooker. He started playing in Buenos Aires for Asociación Alumni and for Toulouse in France four years; he also played for the Argentine national rugby team, his debut for Los Pumas was on December 4, 2004.
William Servat is a former French rugby union footballer and is currently an assistant coach for the France national team. Servat played as a hooker for Toulouse in the Top 14 club competition and for France at international level. Servat was regarded as one of the top hookers in the world in the late 2000's, culminating in 2010 Grand Slam & European Cup wins.
Finau Maka started his playing career for Auckland Rugby Union and NZ age group teams. He played over 50 games for Auckland NPC Team and the Hurricanes, Blues and Highlanders before leaving to play for the Stade Toulousain club in French Top 14. Whilst at Toulouse he helped them win the 2003, 2005 and 2010 Heineken Cups, as a replacement in 2003 and starting in the 2005 final. He played in two Rugby World Cups for Tonga and was one of the stars of the 2007 Rugby World Cup. In 2011 he led his country to beat France in the biggest upset in Rugby World Cup history. France went on to almost beat the All Blacks in the final.
Maxime Médard is a former French rugby union player who plays his club rugby for French club Stade Toulousain in Top 14 and France internationally. He can play as both a full-back and on the wing and is described by assistant national team coach Émile Ntamack as an "incredible talent" that, during the 2010–11 season, was finally "realizing his potential". Medard is a two-time winner of the Heineken Cup and, in 2008, won the Top 14 for the first time. Also referred to as 'The French Wolverine.'
Jean Bouilhou born 7 December 1978 is a rugby union player for Toulouse in the Top 14 competition. He plays as a flanker. Whilst at Toulouse he won the Heineken Cup three times in 2003, 2005 and 2010, starting in the 2003 and 2010 finals and featuring as a replacement in 2005.
Romain Millo-Chluski is a former rugby union player for Toulouse in the Top 14 competition. He plays as a lock.
Serge Alain Stéphane Aurier is an Ivorian professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Süper Lig club Galatasaray and captains the Ivory Coast national team.
