Doug Carrion is an American musician, audio engineer, record producer, and music editor. He played bass guitar in the punk rock bands the Descendents and Dag Nasty during the 1980s, and in the hard rock band For Love Not Lisa in the early 1990s, and is currently in the band Field Day. He has had a long working relationship with Brad "Daddy X" Xavier, playing with him in the punk rock bands Doggy Style and Humble Gods, working with his rap rock group the Kottonmouth Kings in the 2000s, and playing on his solo albums. Carrion has also composed, edited, and recorded music for television and films, including several reality television series and game shows during the 2000s. In 2012 he started his own Americana group, Doug C and the Blacklisted.

Recording sessions took place at A&M Studios in Hollywood, at Can-Am Recorders in California, at the Ogden House, and at 1605 Studios in Huntington Beach. Production was handled by member Daddy X, who also served as executive producer, Mellow B. De Lear, Marco Forcone, Dog Boy and I Timothy. It features guest appearances from Too Rude and Humble Gods.

Cloud Nine is the eighth studio album by American hip hop group Kottonmouth Kings. It was released on August 28, 2007, under Suburban Noize Records. Band member Daddy X stated that Cloud Nine is the "most adventurous" Kottonmouth Kings album release to date. Cloud Nine features artists such as Tech N9ne, the Insane Clown Posse, and Cypress Hill. It includes a bonus DVD containing videos for the songs "City 2 City", "Livin' Proof", "Think 4 Yourself", and others that not only include the Kottonmouth Kings, but also that of their newly signed labelmates. The album title was thought up by band member Pakelika. It is meant to show that it is their ninth official album and also referred to the so-called "greatness of being high with the heavens".
The Kottonmouth Kings is an American rap rock group formed in Placentia, California in 1996 by D-Loc, Saint Dog and Johnny Richter. The group advocates for legalizing cannabis, and their lyrics frequently refer to smoking marijuana. The group plays hip hop, punk and rap rock songs that sometimes incorporate elements of other genres, including psychedelic rock, reggae, dubstep, bluegrass and jam band.
Suburban Noize Records, also known as "Subnoize", is an independent record label based in Burbank, California that specializes in punk rock and hip hop music. The label was founded in 1997 by the Kottonmouth Kings' vocalist Daddy X and later ran by Kevin Zinger.
Throw Your Spades Up! is the debut live DVD the Hip-Hop Duo Kingspade that was released on February 19, 2008. The DVD includes the explosive show recorded at the legendary Key Club in West Hollywood on November 3, 2007. The DVD includes the live performance, interviews with the group, and all three Kingspade music videos. "The Deal", "Down 4 Da Krown", "Lifestyles" and "P-Town" are actually songs that were on previous Kottonmouth Kings albums, but being that Daddy X was included only on "Down 4 Da Krown" and "P-Town" Kingspade performed simply cutting out his verses.

Production was handled by Mike Kumagai, Jim Perkins, and member Daddy X, who also served as executive producer together with Kevin Zinger. It features guest appearances from Big B, BJ Smith, Dogboy, Insane Clown Posse, Tech N9NE, Vicky Calhoun, Jason Nava and Sonny Tipton.
Humble Gods was a punk rock band from Hermosa Beach, California. Kottonmouth Kings' frontman Daddy X created the band. On October 17, 1995, the band released its debut self-titled album Humble Gods on WEA. The band had a number of members come and go throughout its career, including two untimely deaths. Daddy X is also the vocalist of the punk rock/hip-hop groups X-Pistols and Kottonmouth Kings, and former vocalist of the skate punk band Doggy Style. He also has a solo hip-hop career.
X Pistols is an American punk rock band from Southern California and Oregon, United States, formed in 2010. Brad "Daddy X" Xavier, David "The Dirtball" Alexander, D.I. members TNT, Joey Glock, and Colt Clayton make up the band. In 2011, X-Pistols released their debut album Shoot to Kill, on Suburban Noize Records.
Doggy Style is a punk rock band from Placentia, California, and was part of the North Orange County punk rock scene that included bands from the surrounding cities of Fullerton and Anaheim that formed in 1983. Daddy X of the Kottonmouth Kings, and co-founder of Suburban Noize Records, was the original vocalist, and creator of the band. Their debut EP Work As One was released on a 7" record, on Mystic Records.
David Alexander, better known by his stage name The Dirtball, is an American recording solo artist, a former member of hip hop group Kottonmouth Kings whom he joined in early 2010, and the punk rock group collaboration X-Pistols with Daddy X also formerly of the Kottonmouth Kings and members of So Cal punk group D.I.

Mile High is the twelfth studio album by American rap rock group Kottonmouth Kings. It was released on August 14, 2012 via Suburban Noize Records. Recording sessions took place at the Kottonmouth Kompound. Production was handled by Mike Kumagai and member Daddy X with additional production from John Edney and Steve Dang, except for the song "Mr. Cali Man", which was produced by Ceekay Jones and Makerz. It features guest appearances from Saint Dog, Ceekay Jones, Jahred, Mickey Avalon and Twiztid.
Krown Power is the thirteenth studio album by American hip hop group Kottonmouth Kings. It was released on August 28, 2015 through United Family Music. It features guest appearances from Marlon Asher, C4mula, Chucky Chuck, Dog Boy, Insane Clown Posse, Jahred, and member Saint Dog re-joining the group. A month later they released a deluxe version, which also featured contributions from Allensworth, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, (həd) p.e., Judge D, Nicky Gritts, Pilot, Twiztid and Upso 1-2. The album peaked at number 100 on the Top Album Sales, number 17 on the Independent Albums and number 8 on the Top Rap Albums chart in the United States.
