Career

Damian de Montemas attended and graduated from Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). [1]

Damian de Montemas portrayed Jason Kennedy in the first two series of The Secret Life Of Us , and Brian Alexander on Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities , [1] the latter for which he won the 2009 AFI Award for Best Supporting Actor in a miniseries.

He made appearances in All Saints , Blue Heelers and appeared as Henk Van Minnen on Home and Away . In 2013, de Montemas joined the cast of Neighbours in the guest role of Alek Pocoli. He made his first screen appearance on 9 September. [2]

In June 2024, de Montemas was named for the second series of Stan drama Scrublands. [3]

The Secret Life of Us is an Australian television drama series set in the beachside neighbourhood of St Kilda, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is primarily a drama with some comedic moments. The series was produced by Southern Star Group and screened in Australia from 2001 to 2005 on Network Ten and on Channel 4 in the UK. Initially co-funded by the two networks, Channel 4 pulled out after the third series and the fourth series was not aired in the UK. The series won three silver Logie Awards.

<i>Neighbours</i> Australian soap opera (1985–present)

Neighbours is an Australian television soap opera, which has aired since 18 March 1985. It was created by television executive Reg Watson. The Seven Network commissioned the show following the success of Watson's earlier soap Sons and Daughters. Although successful in Melbourne, Neighbours underperformed in the Sydney market and was cancelled by Seven four months after it began airing. It was immediately commissioned by rival Network Ten for a second production season, which began screening on 20 January 1986. Neighbours became the longest-running drama series in Australian television history. In 2005, it was inducted into the Logie Hall of Fame.

He made his first television appearance in a 2004 episode of Blue Heelers. Two years later he landed a recurring role in the soap opera Neighbours. Gregory made his feature film debut in Acolytes. This was followed by a role in 2009 film Beautiful and a regular role in children's television series The Elephant Princess. Gregory's next film roles were in comedy films Accidents Happen and A Heartbeat Away. In April 2012, Gregory joined the cast of Neighbours for a second time.

After training at the 16th Street Actors Studio, Roberts took part in the 2012 reality television series Bollywood Star, in which Australians compete for a chance to work with Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt. She has made guest appearances in various Australian television shows, including Jack Irish and INXS: Never Tear Us Apart. After appearing in the 2014 Neighbours spin-off series Brennan on the Run as Sienna Matthews, Roberts joined the cast of the main show in a recurring capacity. From 2017 to 2021, she played Willow Harris in Home and Away. Roberts has also starred in the feature films Felony and UnIndian.
