Daniel Joseph Morogiello,born March 26,1955,in Brooklyn,New York,is a former 1976 third-round draft choice of the Atlanta Braves. Played a total of 10 professional seasons,reaching the majors with the 1983 World Series champion Baltimore Orioles.
On June 5,1974,Morogiello was drafted in the eighth-round out of Canarsie High School but chose not to sign. Instead,he went on to pitch two seasons at Seton Hall University for head coach Mike Sheppard,leading the Pirates to the 1975 College World Series. Following his professional career,he pitched 10 more years in the Met League and was inducted into the Bergen County (NJ) Hall of Fame. Active in over-30 leagues for several years after that,Morogiello also served as pitching coach at Hunterdon Central Regional HS from 1999 to 2002. In 2004,he joined the NJIT Baseball coaching staff where he became a volunteer assistant in working with the NJIT pitching staff. He and his wife,Nancy,have two daughters,Vanessa and Jenna,and a son Dan.
After being drafted by the Atlanta Braves in 1976,he spent several years in the Minor League system before making his Major League debut with the Baltimore Orioles on May 20,1983,against the Toronto Blue Jays. In his one year in Major League baseball,Morogiello compiled an 0–1 record,with 37.2 innings pitched in 22 appearances with a stellar 2.39 ERA for the World Series champions. On July 11,1983,Morogiello picked up his only major league save. He pitched 2 shutout innings to help the Orioles defeat the Athletics,7–6. [1] His final Major League game was September 22,1983.

He was best known for being one of four Orioles pitchers to win 20 games in their 1971 season.

Frederick Wayne Honeycutt,nicknamed "Honey",is an American former professional baseball coach and pitcher. Honeycutt pitched in Major League Baseball (MLB) for six different teams over 21 years,from 1977 to 1997. He pitched in 30 post-season games,including 20 League Championship Series games and seven World Series games,and never lost a game,going 3–0. Honeycutt gave up no runs in the 1988 and 1990 post-seasons,and was a member of the Oakland Athletics' 1989 World Series championship team. He was also the pitching coach for the Los Angeles Dodgers from 2006 through 2019.

The 1966 Major League Baseball season was contested from April 11 to October 9,1966. The Braves played their inaugural season in Atlanta,following their relocation from Milwaukee. Three teams played the 1966 season in new stadiums. On April 12,the Braves ushered in Atlanta–Fulton County Stadium with the Pittsburgh Pirates taking a 3–2 win in 13 innings. One week later,Anaheim Stadium opened with the California Angels losing to the Chicago White Sox,3–1 in the Angels' debut following their move from Los Angeles to nearby Orange County. On May 8,the St. Louis Cardinals closed out old Sportsman's Park/Busch Stadium I with a 10–5 loss to the San Francisco Giants before opening the new Busch Memorial Stadium four days later with a 4–3 win in 12 innings over the Atlanta Braves.

Before his professional career,Gausman attended Louisiana State University (LSU) and played college baseball for the LSU Tigers,with whom he was an All-American. The Orioles selected him in the first round of the 2012 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut in 2013. He was an All-Star in 2021 and 2023.
