The Oklahoma Wranglers were a professional arena football team based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They were members of the Central (1996–1997) and Western (1998–2001) Division of the American Conference of the Arena Football League (AFL). They previously played as the Memphis Pharaohs and Portland Forest Dragons. The team played at the Myriad, now known as the Cox Convention Center, in downtown Oklahoma City.
John Dutton is a former Arena Football League (AFL) quarterback. He was drafted out of University of Nevada, Reno in the 6th round of the 1998 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins. In 2005, he led the Crush to the ArenaBowl XIX title. In 2006, he was on the cover of the EA Sports first AFL video game, Arena Football, making him the first player to pose for the cover. He had been the backup quarterback for the San Jose SaberCats behind Mark Grieb. After Grieb's suffered a season-ending injury earlier in the year, Dutton quarterbacked the SaberCats to a 52–14 victory over the Arizona Rattlers in ArenaBowl XVI. He was named Offensive Player of the Game for his performance. In June 2009, Dutton was signed by the RiverCity Rage of the Indoor Football League (IFL). On February 12, 2010, it was announced that Dutton had been signed by the Cleveland Gladiators.
Corey Mayfield is a former American football offensive lineman/defensive lineman and coach of the Arena Football League (AFL). Mayfield is currently the defensive coordinator of the Texas Revolution of Champions Indoor Football (CIF). Mayfield played in the National Football League (NFL) and the Arena Football League.
The Western Division was one of four divisions that previously made up the Arena Football League. The Western Division was formed in 1992 when the AFL first split into three divisions. He played college football at the University of Tulsa and attended Sequoyah High School in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was also a member of the Miami Dolphins, Barcelona Dragons, Chicago Enforcers and New York Dragons.

Lorenzo "Chuck" Reed is a former American football offensive lineman who played for the San Jose SaberCats of the Arena Football League (AFL). Prior to joining the SaberCats, he played for the Shreveport Pirates of the Canadian Football League (CFL) and the Anaheim Piranhas, Portland Forest Dragons, and Oklahoma Wranglers of the AFL. Prior to playing professionally, Reed played collegiate football at UNLV.
Shawn Willis was an American football fullback who last played for San Jose SaberCats of the Arena Football League (AFL). He did not see any playing time in his lone season with the team (2007); he did, however, win an AFL Championship when the SaberCats defeated the Columbus Destroyers in ArenaBowl XXI at the end of the season. Willis was placed on the team's injured reserve list on February 18, 2008; he was waived by the SaberCats five days later.
The 2000 Oklahoma Wranglers season is the sixth season for the franchise, and the first in Oklahoma City. The team played in the Arena Football League, and played the previous season in Portland, Oregon as the Portland Forest Dragons. The team was coached by Bob Cortese and played their home games at The Myriad in Oklahoma City. The Wranglers finished third in the American Conference West Division with a 7–7 record earned the 10 seed for the AFL playoffs. They lost in the quarterfinals to the San Jose SaberCats.
