Darrell Charles Dess (born July 11, 1935) is an American former professional football offensive lineman in the National Football League (NFL) for the Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Giants, and the Washington Redskins. [1]
Dess was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He played college football for the NC State Wolfpack, earning all-conference honors as a guard. [1] He was selected in the eleventh round of the 1958 NFL Draft by the Redskins. [2]
Darrell Ray Green is an American former professional football player who was a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL) for the Washington Redskins from 1983 to 2002. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest cornerbacks to have ever played in the NFL. Green was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2008.
