Darren Campbell Smith (born 14 November 1973) is a former New Zealand field hockey player, who earned his first cap for the national team, nicknamed The Black Sticks, in 1995 against Spain. He represented New Zealand at the 2004 Summer Olympics. [1]

Smith is currently the Head Coach of the Black Sticks a role he has had since 2017. During his time in charge of the side they have earned a silver medal at the Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast in 2018.

He played at two Commonwealth Games, in 1998 and 2002, winning a silver medal at the latter. His career further spans two World Cups. Smith resides in Auckland.

Originally from Thames Valley, the striker/midfielder was based in Perth for 2005, but played in New Zealand most recently for North Harbour. He helped New Zealand qualify for the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens as a member of the Olympic qualifying team, but experienced striker Bevan Hari was selected for the final squad. He returned to the team for a home series against Malaysia, and toured Europe in July 2005. After 102 caps for the national team he retired in 2009.

Bradley Shaw is a field hockey player from New Zealand, who earned his first cap for the national team, nicknamed The Black Sticks, in 2004 at the Champions Trophy against the Netherlands. Jude represented India at 133 international matches, prominent among them the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia, 1998 Hockey World Cup at Utrecht, Holland and 2002 World Cup at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He moved to New Zealand in 2002 and is coaching field hockey teams at the highest level.
