Early life

Born the son of M. Dean and Deborah D. Bowser, Deryn attended Washington Preparatory High School in Los Angeles, California.

College career

Los Angeles Harbor College

After high school, Bowser attended Los Angeles Harbor College, where he was a standout member of the football team. Bowser was twice named First Team All-Western State Conference and set school records for career receptions (109) and receiving touchdowns (19). [1]

Bowser signed with Akron on January 29, 2008. [2] Bowser chose Akron over scholarship offers from Kansas State, Oregon State and Stony Brook. [3]

Akron

Bowser started 16 games in his career for the Zips. [4] Bowser was named 3rd Team All-Mid-American Conference in 2008. [5] Bowser was having a productive 2009 season when he was injured during the Zips week 6 game against Buffalo. [6]

Professional career

Pre-draft

Prior to the 2010 NFL Draft, Bowser was projected to be undrafted by NFLDraftScout.com. He was rated as the 164th-best wide receiver in the draft. [9] He was not invited to the NFL Scouting Combine, he posted the following numbers during his Akron pro-day workouts:

Arizona Cardinals

After failing to hear his named called in the 2010 NFL Draft, Bowser signed as an undrafted free agent with the Arizona Cardinals. [4] He was waived on August 3, 2010.

Iowa Barnstormers

In 2012, Bowser was assigned to the Iowa Barnstormers of the Arena Football League. Bowser suffered a knee injury during 2012 training camp, and missed the entire 2012 season. [10] Bowser was assigned to the Barnstormers on November 2, 2012 for the 2013 season. [10]

Colin Madison is a former American football offensive lineman. Madison initially played football at Willowbrook High School in Villa Park, IL; following his graduation, he attended Temple University. Madison started a total of twenty-eight games at Temple. He was signed by the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League as an undrafted free agent in 2011.  In 2012, Madison made his AFL debut with the Chicago Rush. He started in a total of seven games that season. In 2013, the Rush made him a primary starter on their offensive line; Madison started in eighteen games that season. In addition to his regular duties as an offensive lineman, Madison scored three touchdowns for the Rush as a tight end. The team folded at the end of the 2013 season; as such, Madison joined the AFL's Pittsburgh Power. Madison started in all of the Power's regular season games; he was named to the All-Arena Second Team. The Power, despite posting a 15-3 record in 2014, folded in November of that year. In light of this, Madison was assigned to the San Jose SaberCats on March 18, 2015. The SaberCats would go on to win ArenaBowl XXVIII at the end of the 2015 season; Madison started eighteen games on the season. On January 15, 2016, Madison was assigned to the Los Angeles KISS for the 2016 season. He was selected by the Shenzhen Naja of the China Arena Football League (CAFL) in the fourth round of the 2016 CAFL Draft. On July 6, 2017, Madison was assigned to the Baltimore Brigade. Jarrod Wesley Pughsley is a former American football offensive guard. He played football and basketball at Lima Senior High School in Lima, Ohio. He played college football at Akron, where he was a four-year letterman. Pughsley was named Third-team All-MAC his senior year in 2013. He played in 35 games, and started 23 of them, during his college career. After going undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft, he signed with the Dallas Cowboys. However, Pughsley suffered an injury and was released in July 2014. He was then a member of the Kansas City Chiefs from 2014 to 2016, spending the majority of the time on the practice squad. He played in two regular season games and one playoff game for the Chiefs in 2015. Pughsley was signed to the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad in November 2016 and was released by the team before the start of the 2017 regular season.
