Desus vs. Mero is a weekly podcast show and web series hosted by Bronx natives Desus Nice and The Kid Mero. The podcast was first released on 18 December 2013 and after 46 episodes it ended on 31 December 2014. [1] [2] [3] [4] The duo has since gone on to appear on TV series such as MTV2's Guy Code , Uncommon Sense, Joking Off, and hosts Desus & Mero (2016) on Viceland and Desus & Mero (2019) on Showtime.

He is the host of The Fighter and the Kid podcast, the Below the Belt with Brendan Schaub podcast, and co-host of the Golden Hour podcast, along with fellow comedians Chris D'Elia and Erik Griffin. After signing with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in 2009 to compete on The Ultimate Fighter, he fought for the company until 2014. He officially retired from mixed martial arts (MMA) in 2015. Ziwerekoru "Ziwe" Fumudoh is an American comedian and writer known for her satirical commentary on politics, race relations, and young adulthood. She created the YouTube comedy show Baited with Ziwe and its later Instagram Live iteration, she was a writer on Desus & Mero from 2018 to 2020, and in 2018 she co-hosted Crooked Media's Hysteria podcast. Fumudoh stars in and executive produces the Showtime variety series Ziwe, which premiered in May 2021.

"Podcast News" is the sixth episode of the thirty-second season of the American animated television series The Simpsons. It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on November 15, 2020. In the episode, Grampa Simpson is accused of murdering his girlfriend, and Kent Brockman creates a podcast about it. Brockman's podcast is able to convince the town that Grampa was guilty of the crime, including Grampa himself, who confesses to the police. However, after the discovery that Grampa's girlfriend is still alive, he is exonerated and set free.
