Kanku is a 1969 Gujarati social drama film, starring Kishore Bhatt, Kishore Jariwala, Pallavi Mehta, directed and produced by Kantilal Rathod. The film deals with struggles of a widow, Kanku. The film was adapted from Pannalal Patel's short story of the same name. The film won National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Gujarati at the 17th National Film Awards.

Meghdhanush (transl. Rainbow) is an Indian Fusion–Rock band formed in Ahmedabad formed in December 2009, who are widely recognized for their Hindi and Gujarati Fusions and unique covers. They are one of Gujarat's foremost band led by Jainam Modi and Karan Patel. Their signature lies in a contemporary yet rooted sound which connects with the youth and the old. Meghdhanush describes theirs style of experimenting with different genres of music as they believe that different colours of the rainbow represent different emotions, their music does the same.

He is known for his work as a director in his debut, Dhh (2017), for which it received the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Gujarati at the 65th National Film Awards. The film is a story of three school children who come to believe that a magician, who just came to city, can magically get them out of their troubles. The film that starred Naseeruddin Shah was released by Viacom18 and was also a part of the Toronto International Film Festival Kids.
