Diana Stateczny (born 13 January 1980) [1] is a German snooker and professional pool player. She won the women's 2019 EBSA European Snooker Championship.

Stateczny started playing cue sports in 1995, initially pool, but focusing on snooker from around 2009. [2]
She was runner-up at the 2005 14.1 European Pool Championships, and won the 2007 Eight-ball European Pool Championships
At the 2010 EBSA European Snooker Championship, Stateczny won all of the matches in her qualifying group without losing a frame , and topped the qualifying table. [3] She was therefore the top seed in the knockout, where she beat Anne-Katrin Hirsch 4–3 and Natascha Niermann 4–0 to reach the final. She lost in the final 3–5 to defending champion Wendy Jans. Stateczny won all of her matches in qualifying for the knockout of the 2019 EBSA European Snooker Championship. [6] She then beat Ewelina Piślewska 3–2, Polina Astakhova 4–1 and Linda Erben 4–1 to reach the final against Anastasia Nechaeva. Stateczny won the first frame of the final, before losing the next two. However, she then won the next three frames to record a 4–2 victory and win the title. [7] [8] [9]
Stateczny was part of the winning EBSA European Women's Team Championships in 2011, and was a losing finalist in 2015 and 2019. [10] [11] [12]
She lives in Bochum, Germany, and works for Phenox, a medical technology company. [2]

The EBSA European Under-21 Snooker Championships is the premier amateur junior snooker tournament in Europe. The event series is sanctioned by the European Billiards & Snooker Association. It took place first in 1997 and is held annually since then. The event was known as the EBSA European Under-19 Snooker Championships until 2010. In most years the winner of the tournament qualifies for the next two seasons of the World Snooker Tour as well as being awarded the Ebdon Trophy which is named in honour of former World Champion Peter Ebdon.

The EBSA European Under-18 Snooker Championships is an amateur junior snooker tournament. The event series is sanctioned by the European Billiards and Snooker Association and started from 2016. The inaugural tournament was won by Tyler Rees who defeated fellow countryman Jackson Page 5–2 in the final. The winner of the tournament is awarded with a place in the qualifying rounds of the World Snooker Championship.

Joe Grech was a Maltese snooker and billiards player. A professional snooker player for various years from 1988 to 2000, he won the IBSF World Billiards Championship in 1997. First competing as an amateur in the 1979s, he competed in amateur and professional snooker and billiards championships in a career spanning nearly 40 years. Anita Rizzuti is a Norwegian snooker and pool player. She is married to professional snooker player Kurt Maflin.
Daria Sirotina is a Russian amateur snooker and professional pool player. She won the European Ladies Team Championship, partnered with Anastasia Nechaeva, each year from 2012 to 2016. She was runner-up in the women's 2013 IBSF World Six-reds Championship, failing to score in three of the four frames in the final, losing 0–4 to Ng On-yee.
