Digital Praise was a Christian-themed video game developer. It has produced Dance Praise , [1] Guitar Praise , [2] Adventures in Odyssey , [1] Light Rangers: Mending the Maniac Madness, [3] VeggieTales 'Dance, Dance, Dance, [4] and other video games.

It won the Addy Awards for "Mixed Media (Cross Platform) Campaign" in 2008. [5] It intended to merge with Inspired Media Entertainment (formerly Left Behind Games), [3] which closed in 2011. At the time of the merger's announcement, Digital Praise was the largest private Christian game developer in the global market. [6] [7] The merger never occurred, however, and the deal was lost due to Left Behind Games reneging their end of the contract. [8] [9]

<i>Guitar Praise</i> 2008 Christian music video game

Guitar Praise is a Christian rhythm video game for PC. Published by Digital Praise, it uses contemporary Christian music with gameplay akin to that of the Guitar Hero and Rock Band games, although it is only compatible with its own wired and cordless USB guitar controllers. A second guitar can be connected for two-player mode. The games can be played on a computer running Microsoft Windows or Mac OS X. While the game does not contain a mode for vocals, it does display the song's lyrics on-screen during the song. It also supports online leaderboards but the website is currently down.
