Don Curry (born September 7, 1958) [3] is an American actor and stand-up comedian. He is best known for starring as Craig's sex-crazed Uncle Elroy Jones in Next Friday and Friday After Next and for his role on the sitcom Grace Under Fire .
Curry's father is Dr. L. K. Curry, pastor emeritus of Emmanual Baptist Church in Chicago. Curry's mother, Dorothy, died in 2003. [4]

In 2000, Curry portrayed Craig's sex-crazed Uncle Elroy Jones in Next Friday . He reprised his role in the 2002 follow-up Friday After Next .
In 2010, Curry was featured in The Boondocks episode The Color Ruckus in which he voiced Uncle Ruckus' Caucasian-hating father. In 2013, he hosted BET's Comic View . Curry had hosted Comic View from 1996 to 1997; he also appeared on the show as a performer many times, when he first got his start in comedy. [5]

Donald Jay Rickles was an American stand-up comedian and actor. He became known primarily for his insult comedy. His film roles include Run Silent, Run Deep (1958), Enter Laughing (1967), Kelly's Heroes (1970), and Casino (1995). From 1976 to 1978, Rickles had a two-season starring role in the NBC television sitcom C.P.O. Sharkey, having previously starred in two eponymous half-hour programs, an ABC variety show titled The Don Rickles Show (1968) and a CBS sitcom identically titled The Don Rickles Show (1972).

Hughley is best known as the original host of BET's ComicView from 1992 to 1993, the eponymous character on the ABC/UPN sitcom The Hughleys, and as one of the "Big Four" comedians in The Original Kings of Comedy. Friday After Next is a 2002 American stoner comedy film directed by Marcus Raboy and starring Ice Cube, Mike Epps, John Witherspoon, Don "D.C." Curry, Anna Maria Horsford, and Clifton Powell. It is the third installment in the Friday trilogy as tells the story of Craig and his cousin Day-Day getting jobs as security guards at a shopping center when a robber dressed as Santa Claus breaks into their apartment and steals their presents and the rent money that is to be given to their landlady. The film was theatrically released on November 22, 2002, to generally negative reviews.
