Donnie Henderson (born May 17, 1957) is an American football coach. He most recently was the defensive coordinator at Arizona State, and before that he was defensive coordinator of the Salt Lake Stallions of the Alliance of American Football.
Henderson first joined the Jets during the 2004 NFL season. [1] In 2005, the Jets had a second-ranked defense against the pass, but a 32nd-ranked defense against the run, which undoubtedly was one of the factors leading to the team's disappointing 4–12 record (in addition to Chad Pennington and Curtis Martin being absent for most of the season due to injury). Henderson was not kept on after head coach Herman Edwards was replaced by Eric Mangini following the season.
Henderson soon accepted the defensive coordinator position for the Detroit Lions and new head coach, Rod Marinelli. The Lions went 3–13 in 2006 and finished the season ranked 27th out of 32 in total defense. Henderson was fired from his position on January 2, 2007.
In 2010, he was hired by the Arizona Cardinals as a defensive backs coach. [2]
Henderson coached at Southern University in 2011 and was named the defensive backs coach at Syracuse University in 2012. [3] He was hired by the Buffalo Bills in 2013 to coach the defensive backs. [4] He was a coach in The Spring League in 2017 and 2018. [5]
In October 2018, he was announced as the defensive coordinator for the Salt Lake Stallions of the Alliance of American Football. [6]
During the 2021 season, Henderson filled in at Arizona State as the interim defensive backs coach, and then following the season, he was promoted to defensive coordinator. [7]

During his 35-season coaching career, Ryan served as the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals, as well as the defensive coordinator of the Chicago Bears and Houston Oilers of the NFL.

He was previously a collegiate football coach from 2008 to 2018, where he achieved recognition for his development of quarterback prospects. During his collegiate career, Kingsbury served as the offensive quality control coach for two-time Sammy Baugh Trophy winner Case Keenum at Houston, the offensive coordinator for Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel at Texas A&M, and the head coach for Sammy Baugh Trophy winner and future NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes at Texas Tech. Kingsbury was named the head coach of the Cardinals in 2019, who he led to the playoffs during the 2021 season.
Dennis Lee Thurman is an American football coach and former cornerback. He is the former Defensive coordinator on Deion Sanders' inaugural staff at Jackson State University. He is a former coach in the National Football League for the Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets, and in the Alliance of American Football for the Memphis Express. He played for the Dallas Cowboys and St. Louis Cardinals. He played college football at the University of Southern California.
Rex Ashley Ryan is an American former football coach and analyst. Ryan was formerly the head coach of the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL), and also held various coaching positions with eight other NFL and college teams.
Robert Allen Ryan is an American football coach who is currently the senior defensive assistant for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). Vance Desmond Joseph is an American football coach and former player who is the defensive coordinator of the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). Previously he was the head coach of the Denver Broncos. As a player, Joseph attended the University of Colorado as a quarterback and running back in the 1990s, and was signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 1995, playing cornerback for them and then the Indianapolis Colts in 1996. With 19 years of coaching experience at the professional and collegiate levels, Joseph was hired by the Broncos after spending 12 years as a defensive coach in the NFL with San Francisco (2005–10), Houston (2011–13), Cincinnati (2014–15) and Miami (2016). Between 2017 and 2018, he was the head coach of the Denver Broncos. Joseph was the second African American head coach in Broncos history, after Eric Studesville was interim head coach for 4 games in 2010, and their first African American head coach on a permanent basis.
Brenton James Pry is an American football coach and former player who is currently the head coach at Virginia Tech. He previously served as the defensive coordinator at Penn State from 2016 to 2021. He played college football for the Buffalo Bulls.
