Monroe County is a county located in the central portion of the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2010 census, the population was 26,424. The county seat is Forsyth. The county was created on May 15, 1821. The county was named for James Monroe.

The river is fairly muddy above High Falls Lake, but it clears once below the falls where most of the river is rock bottomed. This region is about 50 miles (80 km) south of Atlanta and about 35 miles (56 km) north of Macon.
Andreas is a village in the southeast corner of Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, in West Penn Township on Route 895. A small part of Andreas is also in East Penn Township in Carbon County. The Lizard Creek flows eastward through the village to the Lehigh River. Andreas lies at the northern foot of Blue Mountain in ZIP code 18211.

Sycamore Creek, a tributary stream of the Rio Grande, with its source in Edwards County, ten miles east of Carta Valley in southwest Edwards County, 29°47′33″N100°30′31″W. It flows southwestward to Val Verde County then southward to the Val Verde / Kinney County line along which it flows past its confluence with Mud Creek and Sacatosa Creek to the Rio Grande.
