Gordy appeared in the United States with promotions such as Mid-South Wrestling, Georgia Championship Wrestling, World Class Championship Wrestling, Jim Crockett Promotions/World Championship Wrestling and the Universal Wrestling Federation as a member of The Fabulous Freebirds. The IPWA Heavyweight Championship was a professional wrestling heavyweight championship in the Independent Professional Wrestling Alliance (IPWA). The Century Wrestling Alliance, formerly known as NWA Cold Front and NWA New England, was a New England–based American independent wrestling promotion located in Boston, Massachusetts. It was founded by Tony Rumble in 1989, a retired wrestler and manager in International World Class Championship Wrestling, and included much of its roster prior to and following its close during the early 1990s. The promotion eventually replaced IWCCW as the dominant independent promotion in the Greater Boston area and, in 1997, became an affiliated territory of the National Wrestling Alliance.
Brendan Higgins, best known by his ring name Knuckles Nelson is a retired American professional wrestler, promoter and trainer who wrestled throughout the North American independent circuit during the 1990s and 2000s. He competed in several regional promotions such as the Century Wrestling Alliance, the National Wrestling Alliance and the United States Wrestling Association. He also briefly appeared in World Championship Wrestling and the World Wrestling Federation as well as touring Japan as Super Destroyer between 1997 and 1999.

He has wrestled and won titles in the Allied Powers Wrestling Federation, King Kong Bundy's Devastation Wrestling Federation, Maryland Championship Wrestling, Mid-Eastern Wrestling Federation, the National Wrestling Alliance, Phoenix Championship Wrestling, Southern Championship Wrestling and Steel City Wrestling.
Larry Winters was an American professional wrestler and trainer who competed in the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and East Coast independent circuit during the 1980s and 90s. He has wrestled in the American Wrestling Association, the National Wrestling Alliance, National Wrestling Federation, Pro Wrestling USA and the World Wrestling Council. It was reported on several wrestling websites that Winters died due to a heart attack January 27, 2015.
Richard Link is an American semi-retired professional wrestler, trainer and promoter. He wrestled throughout Canada and the United States for the National Wrestling Alliance during the 1970s and 80s under a number of ringnames, most notably, as M.E.B. in NWA Central States and as Man Mountain Link in the Continental Wrestling Association where he was among the "monster heels" who challenged AWA Southern Heavyweight Champion Jerry "The King" Lawler and was involved in the ongoing feud between Lawler and Andy Kaufman. Other promotions Link competed in included Georgia Championship Wrestling, International Championship Wrestling, the International Wrestling Association, Jim Crockett Promotions, and Stampede Wrestling. He was also part of the NWA's 1983 visit to New Zealand, frequently appearing on the country's long-running wrestling programme On the Mat, and remained undefeated throughout the tour.
The Dennis Coralluzzo Invitational was a professional wrestling memorial event produced by the NWA New Jersey (NWA-NJ) promotion, which took place on September 26, 2009, at the Wayne PAL in Wayne, New Jersey; It was held in honor of Dennis Coralluzzo, a longtime New Jersey wrestling promoter and one-time president of the National Wrestling Alliance, who had died on July 30, 2001, after suffering a fatal stroke. As part of the event, his family were present to accept his posthumous introduction to the NWA Hall of Fame. The event was sponsored by Smash Fight Wear, a mixed martial arts equipment manufacturer, and open to the general public free of charge. Twelve professional wrestling matches were featured on the event's card, with two including championships.
The Independent Professional Wrestling Alliance was an American independent professional wrestling promotion that held events in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States, especially in the Carolinas and Virginia, from October 1995 to February 2001, when it was run by Cueball Carmichael and Kevin Carson. The promotion was based in Chincoteague Island, Virginia, with offices in Alexandria and Fairfax, Virginia.
The Lost Boys were a professional wrestling tag team composed of Yar and Wolf. They competed in numerous independent promotions throughout the East Coast and Northeastern United States during the 1990s. One of the rising stars of the National Wrestling Alliance, they became the first NWA United States Tag Team Champions since 1991 when the title was revived by NWA New Jersey. They also challenged The Misfits for the NWA World Six-Man Tag Team Championship, another abandoned NWA title, when it was briefly revived by NWA 2000 in 1998.
The Eddie Gilbert Memorial Show was an annual professional wrestling memorial event produced by the IWA Mid-South (IWA-MS) promotion from 1997 to 1998. It was held in memory of wrestler "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert who died of a heart attack in Isla Verde, Puerto Rico on February 18, 1995. The shows were held separately from the National Wrestling Alliance-affiliated Eddie Gilbert Memorial Brawl, which ran from 1996 to 1999, and featured wrestlers and other talent who performed with Gilbert during his career. IWA Mid-South was among the promotions accused of financially exploiting Gilbert's death. "Nature Boy" Buddy Landel, who regularly performed for the NWA shows, initially declined Ian Rotten's offer to appear for the IWA Mid-South version for this reason. When Austin Idol failed to appear for the main event at the 1998 edition, Rotten publicly announced that he had filed criminal charges against the wrestler.
Kasey Geyer, also known by the ring name K. C. Thunder, is an American semi-retired professional wrestler, promoter and trainer. He was one of the top "heel" performers in the Southern United States during the 1990s. Geyer is perhaps best known for his tenure in Southern States Wrestling where he is a former SSW Heavyweight Champion and a five-time SSW Tag Team Champion with real-life cousins Beau James and Steve Flynn. He was also a member of Count Grog's stable "The Brotherhood" in Southern Championship Wrestling and was the promotion's first-ever SCW North Carolina Champion.
Pro Wrestling eXpress is a professional wrestling promotion that was founded in North Versailles, Pennsylvania in 1994 by Jim Miller and Sean "Shocker" Evans. It is the longest-running promotion in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. PWX was the main rival of Steel City Wrestling during the 1990s and was an affiliate of the National Wrestling Alliance from 1997 to 2012. PWX held a prominent role in the organization during this period. It was part in the annual NWA Anniversary Shows from 1998 to 2000 and brought national and world NWA champions to audiences in the East Coast of the United States. The promotion also collaborated with non-NWA members on the local independent circuit holding several interpromotional shows with Chris Lash's Allied Powers Wrestling Federation and participated in Deaf Wrestlefest (2010).
Erich L. Sbraccia, also known as Eric Sbraccia, is an American retired professional wrestler. He began his career in International Championship Wrestling at age 14 as a "junior member" for manager "Boston Bad Boy" Tony Rumble and debuted as a wrestler two years later. He emerged as one of the promotion's top heel performers during the late 1980s, while feuding with "Jumping" Joe Savoldi, and was part of The Dynamic Duo with "Fabulous" Phil Apollo. He is a former ICW Light Heavyweight Champion and two-time ICW Tag Team Champion with Apollo.
