Edmond Haxhinasto (born 16 November 1966) is an Albanian politician who was Deputy Prime Minister of Albania from 2011 to 2013.
Edmond Haxhinasto was born in Tirana on 16 November 1966. Haxhinasto graduated from the University of Tirana,Faculty of History and Philology,English Chair in 1989 with a Diploma in English. His postgraduate education includes a Master of Business Administration from the International Executive Center,Brdo,Slovenia in 1996. In 2000,he completed a Master of Public Policy from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. [1]
After a brief engagement in educational and national youth organizations,worked as Head of Foreign Relations at the Parliament of the Republic of Albania from September 1991 to July 1992. From 1993 to 1997 was engaged in the private sector. From August 1997- July 1999 served at the Office of the Prime Minister as Head of Coordination Department. He was also Government Representative for the Emergency Management Group set up to manage the situation of Kosovan refugees in Albania. In 1998,was Chair of the Anti-Corruption Monitoring Group in charge of monitoring the implementation of the Government’s plan to combat corruption in Albania.
On 16 September 2010,Haxhinasto was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs. On 29 March 2011,Haxhinasto attended the London Conference on Libya. [2]
Sali Ram Berisha is an Albanian conservative politician who served as the second President of Albania from 1992 to 1997 and Prime Minister from 2005 to 2013. He was also the leader of the Democratic Party of Albania twice, from 1991 to 1992 and then again from 1997 to 2013.

Relations between Albania and the United States of America were first established in 1912, following Albania's independence from the Ottoman Empire, ending in 1939 due to German and Italian occupation in the Second World War, and re-established in 1991 after the fall of communism in Albania and the dissolution of the Soviet Union.
In 1991, the Socialist Party of Albania, with specific social democratic ideology took control of the country through democratic elections. One year later the Democratic Party of Albania won the new elections. After 1990, Albania has been seeking a closer relationship with the West. What followed were deliberate programs of economic and democratic reform, but Albanian inexperience with capitalism led to the proliferation of pyramid schemes – which were not banned due to the corruption of the government. Chaos in late 1996 to early 1997, as a result of the collapse of these pyramid schemes, alarmed the world and prompted the influx of international peacekeeping forces. In 1995, Albania was accepted into the Council of Europe and requested membership in NATO and is a potential candidate country for accession to the European Union. The workforce of Albania has continued to emigrate to Western countries, especially Greece and Italy.
Behgjet Isa Pacolli is a Kosovar politician and businessman who served as the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo and Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2017 to 2019 under the Ramush Haradinaj's government. Pacolli is a former President of Kosovo, and previously served as the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo between 2011 and 2014. Pacolli was one of the signatories of 2008 Kosovo declaration of independence.
