Ellington Lee Ratliff (born April 14, 1993) [1] is an American drummer and actor. He is best known as the drummer of pop rock band R5, which was active from 2009 until 2018, and as a contributor to The Driver Era.
Ellington Lee Ratliff was born on April 14, 1993, in Los Angeles, California, to Cheryl and George Ratliff.[ citation needed ] From his father's previous marriage, Ratliff has three half-brothers: Erick, Elden, and Garette.
In 2001, Ratliff made his acting debut in All You Need as Robbie Crenshaw. As a young adult, he appeared in episodes of television shows like Eastwick , Raising Hope , Nickelodeon's Victorious , and Red Scare as well as the 2012 film My Uncle Rafael . He and Ross Lynch of R5 were extras in the 2011 movie The Muppets. Ratliff appeared in the 2017 Criminal Minds "Red Light" as well as in a 2019 episode of Grown-ish .

In October 2009, Ratliff met the Lynch siblings at a dance studio in California.
Ratliff uses DW drums, pedals and hardware and Paiste cymbals, favoring their 2002 series. He has also used Tama drums and Promark drumsticks.

Dokken is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1978. It split up in 1989 and reformed four years later. Jake E. Lee is an American musician best known as lead guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne between 1982 and 1987 and later as a member of the heavy metal band Badlands with Ray Gillen. R5 was an American pop rock band formed in Los Angeles in 2009. The band consisted of Ross Lynch, Riker Lynch, Rocky Lynch, Rydel Lynch (keyboards/vocals), and Ellington Ratliff (drums/vocals). They released their first EP Ready Set Rock on March 9, 2010, but it was removed once Ross got his role on the Disney Channel show Austin and Ally. They then released the EP Loud on February 19, 2013. Since releasing their debut album, Louder, on September 24, 2013, which peaked at 24 on the Billboard 200, followed by their world tour. Their second album, Sometime Last Night, was released on July 10, 2015, and debuted at 6 on the US Billboard 200, and reached the top 20 in five other countries. They have also released five EPs, eleven singles, and a documentary. In 2018, the band ended and Ross and Rocky formed the duo The Driver Era.
