Embley School (formerly Hampshire Collegiate School) is an independent day and boarding school for both girls and boys aged 2 to 18 located in Embley Park in Wellow (near Romsey), Hampshire, England. [1]

In 1946, Embley Park (the former family home of Florence Nightingale) became a boarding school for boys between the ages of 11 and 18. In 1996, the school joined with an all-girls school based in Romsey, formerly known as La Sagesse Convent. It then consisted of a junior school (ages 3–11), a senior school (ages 11–16), and a sixth-form college (ages 16–18).
In 2006, the school underwent another merger with The Atherley School, and was renamed Hampshire Collegiate School, part of the United Church Schools Trust. An investment of £14 million expanded the senior school, and created a brand new junior school. In 2019, the school was renamed Embley. [2]
Romsey is a historic market town in the county of Hampshire, England. Romsey was home to the 17th-century philosopher and economist William Petty and the 19th-century British prime minister, Lord Palmerston, whose statue has stood in the town centre since 1857. The town was also home to the 20th-century naval officer and statesman Louis Mountbatten, 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma, who lived at Broadlands. Romsey Abbey, the largest parish church in Hampshire, dominates the centre of the town. Romsey Town Football Club is a football club based in Romsey, Hampshire, England. The club competes in the Wessex League Division One which is the tenth tier of English football. The club is affiliated to the Hampshire Football Association and is an FA chartered Standard club Formed in 1886, Romsey have always been around the 9th and 10th tiers of English Football but have once in their history reached the Fourth Qualifying Round of the FA Cup in the 1990–91 season. They were among the founding members of the Wessex League in 1986. The club plays at the AEC Protection Ground which they moved to in 1956.

Queen Ethelburga's Collegiate incorporates four boarding and day schools for girls and boys from 3 months to 19 years old, located in Thorpe Underwood, near Little Ouseburn, close to York and Harrogate, England.
