Emily Ann Banks [1] [2] (died September 17, 2023) was an American actress and model. She is known for the films, Gunfight in Abilene and Live a Little, Love a Little, [3] and as Yeoman Tonia Barrows in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode, Shore Leave. [4] She also appeared on the television series, The Tim Conway Show. [5]
Banks was born in Boston, Massachusetts. [1] She attended Cambridge High and Latin School, [2] and received her bachelor's degree from Simmons College in 1959. [1]
Banks got her start in 1960 when she was elected Miss Rheingold, appearing in advertisements and promotions for Rheingold Beer. In 1963 she appeared as a model for the game show Say When!!. [1]
Banks died on September 17, 2023. Her death was announced in SAG-AFTRA magazine May 2024. [6]
