Erik Anders Pears (born June 25, 1982) is an American football offensive tackle who is currently a free agent. He was signed by the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2005. He played college football at Colorado State.
He has also played for the Oakland Raiders, Jacksonville Jaguars, Buffalo Bills, and San Francisco 49ers.
Pears attended John Fitzgerald Kennedy High School in Denver, Colorado and was a letterman in football, wrestling, and track&field. In football, he was a two-time All-State selection. In wrestling, he was a three-time League titlist. He is married and has four kids.
Pears signed a multi-year contract extension on December 13, 2011. [1]
On March 17, 2015, Pears signed a two-year contract with the San Francisco 49ers. The contract was worth up to $5.7 million, with $1 million guaranteed, and a $500,000 signing bonus. [2] Pears started every regular season game at right tackle for the 49ers in 2015. [3] On August 29, 2016, Pears was released by the 49ers. [4]

He also played for the Denver Broncos, Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears, New England Patriots, Oakland Raiders, and Cleveland Browns before retiring after the 2007 season. Washington was selected to four Pro Bowls in his career and with the Patriots, he won Super Bowl XXXVIII over the Carolina Panthers. At 6'5" and more than 375 pounds in his prime, he was described as "the prototypical [3-4] nose tackle of this era." His gargantuan frame earned him nicknames like "Mt. Washington" or "Washington Monument". Also notable for his longevity, Washington was a starting nose tackle, one of the most physically demanding positions in football, until the age of 39.

Frank Pollack is an American football coach and former player who is currently the offensive line coach for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL). He was the offensive line coach for the Dallas Cowboys from 2015-2017 and assistant offensive line coach for the Cowboys from 2013-2014. He was the former offensive line coach for the Oakland Raiders. A former San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle and guard for seven seasons, he later served as the assistant offensive line coach for the Houston Texans. In 2018, Pollack left the Cowboys to join the Bengals, while Paul Alexander replaced Pollack in Dallas. Coincidentally, Alexander had been the offensive line coach for the Bengals since 1994. On January 15th, 2019 Pollack left the Bengals. On January 9th, 2021 Pollack returned to the Bengals as the offensive line coach and run game coordinator.
