Eurocom Corporation is a Canadian computer developer of high performance notebooks and laptops.
Eurocom was founded in 1989 [1] as a company designing desktop replacement notebooks. To achieve this they used CPUs intended for desktop computers in their notebooks. [2] In May 2013 Eurocom began to sell laptops through Future Shop's online retail store. [3]
Eurocom structures laptop design and building around units that it claims are "highly configurable and easily upgradable." Another Eurocom philosophy is "creating computers that push technology forward" and the company claims to have a series of industry firsts as a result. [4] Eurocom offers a series of specialized computers such as Trusted Platform Module notebooks, and Mobile Servers. Eurocom has been awarded the "Intel Form Factor Solution Innovation Award" [5] In addition to other awards from various publications. [6]

The most common configuration has a case that houses the power supply, motherboard, disk storage ; a keyboard and mouse for input; and a monitor, speakers, and, often, a printer for output. A mobile workstation, also known as a desktop replacement computer (DTR) or workstation laptop, is a personal computer that provides the full capabilities of a workstation-class desktop computer while remaining mobile. These are sometimes called desknotes, a blend of "desktop" and "notebook", though the term is also applied to desktop replacement computers in general. Other names being monster notebooks or musclebooks in reference to muscle cars.
A laptop computer or notebook computer, also known as a laptop or notebook, is a small, portable personal computer (PC). Laptops typically have a clamshell form factor with a flat panel screen on the inside of the upper lid and an alphanumeric keyboard and pointing device on the inside of the lower lid, although 2-in-1 PCs with a detachable keyboard are often marketed as laptops or as having a "laptop mode". Most of the computer's internal hardware is fitted inside the lower lid enclosure under the keyboard, although many laptops have a built-in webcam at the top of the screen and some modern ones even feature a touch-screen display. In most cases, unlike tablet computers which run on mobile operating systems, laptops tend to run on desktop operating systems, which were originally developed for desktop computers.

Voodoo Computers Inc. or VoodooPC was a luxury personal computer brand and company. Voodoo was originally started as a niche PC maker in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It was founded in 1991, and acquired by Hewlett-Packard in 2006. Voodoo specialized in desktop high performance computing. By 2013 the Voodoo name was no longer used, and was replaced by the brand name Omen, which used the same logo until 2020.
