"Everybody Have A Good Time" is a song by the British rock band The Darkness, released as a promotional single from their third studio album Hot Cakes in June 2012.
Loudwire stated that the song "delivers a retro, rocking anthem bedazzled with big sing-a-long choruses and just enough guitar solos." [1] Spin refers to the song as "giddy glam-rock blast, all Thin Lizzy bombast and T. Rex boogie." [2] NME stated that the song "features the band's trademark 1970s rock sound, and a chorus strongly reminiscent of Queen." [3] However, despite the strong critical praise, the public were not "buying it", with the song failing to chart anywhere in Europe. It was their only single to date not to chart in the UK Top 40.
The Warren Fu-directed music video premiered two days after the official single release. [4] Despite opening with the intertitle "Hot Cakes – Episode 2", this video was actually the third video to be released from the album, following "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us" and Every Inch of You. [5]

"Under Cover of Darkness" is a song by American rock band The Strokes. The single served as the lead single for their fourth studio album, Angles, and was released online on February 9, 2011 as a free download for 48 hours exclusively. It was the first single release from the band in five years, following the release of "You Only Live Once" in 2006. "Under Cover of Darkness" received positive reviews, managing to reach BBC Radio 1's A Playlist; before going on to debut at number 47 on the respective chart. The song was written and produced very late in the recording process for Neighborhoods, following the cancellation of a European tour in order to complete the long-delayed album. Hot Cakes is the third studio album by British rock band the Darkness, released on 20 August 2012 on Canary Dwarf Records. Produced by Nick Brine and band members Justin and Dan Hawkins, the album is the band's first since their 2011 reunion, and the first to feature founding bassist Frankie Poullain since the release of Permission to Land in 2003. It is also the last album to feature all 4 original members, after Ed Graham's departure in 2014. Despite not being released until 20 August, the album was made available to stream on the Rolling Stone website on 14 August.
