Explora Journeys is a luxury cruise line owned by the MSC Group. [1]

History

In October 2018, MSC Group announced an order with Fincantieri for four luxury cruise ships. This was later increased to six, with deliveries running through to 2028. [2]

The line's first ship, Explora I completed its sea trials in April 2023. Delivery was delayed due to faulty fire panels. Its first cruise began on 1 August 2023 departing from Copenhagen. [3] [4]

Fleet

As of January 2024, the line's fleet consists of a single ship with five more vessels planned.

Crystal Cruises is an American cruise line. It was founded in 1988 by Japanese shipping company Nippon Yusen Kaisha, and sold to Hong Kong-headquartered conglomerate Genting Hong Kong in 2015. MS Nieuw Statendam is a Pinnacle-class cruise ship operated by Holland America Line (HAL), a division of Carnival Corporation & plc. Her name, Nieuw Statendam, alludes to the five previous ships in HAL's fleet named Statendam. She is the second of three Pinnacle-class ships built by Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri after Koningsdam (2016) and before Rotterdam (2021). Originally intended to serve the Chinese market, she debuted as Costa Venezia for sister brand Costa Cruises in Shanghai on 18 May 2019. <i>Carnival Firenze</i> Cruise ship

Carnival Firenze is a Vista-class cruise ship operated by Carnival Cruise Line, a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation & plc. Originally debuting as Costa Firenze for sister brand Costa Cruises, she was initially commissioned for the Chinese market but was never deployed to Asia following the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on cruise travel in China. Named after Florence, the 135,156 gross tonnage (GT)-vessel was constructed by Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri in Marghera and delivered in December 2020.

MS <i>Queen Anne</i> Cruise ship

MS Queen Anne (QA) is a pinnacle class cruise ship operated by Cunard Line, named after Anne, the first Monarch of The Kingdom of Great Britain. She is currently the second largest ship in Cunard's fleet, after RMS Queen Mary 2, and features 15 dining venues, including four entirely new alternative dining options, Sir Samuel's, a steakhouse named after the line's founder, Tramonto, a Mediterranean themed restaurant, Aji Wa, a Japanese restaurant with sushi bar, and Aranya, a restaurant offering dishes inspired by the Indian subcontinent. She sailed from her homeport of Southampton on 3 May 2024 for her maiden voyage, calling at A Coruña and Lisbon. A firework display took place as she departed, to welcome her into service. She can carry up to 2,996 passengers.

The Sphere-class cruise ship is a class of cruise ships currently under construction that will enter service with Princess Cruises in February 2024. They will be the largest ships built for Princess Cruises and the company's first ships powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG). The first name was revealed to be Sun Princess.
