EyeQ was a Danish girl group, that formed as the winners of the first season of the reality series Popstars which was broadcast on TV2 in 2001. [1] [2] The group became one of Danmarks best selling music groups. The group consisted of singers Trine Jepsen, the winner of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 1999 with the song "Denne Gang", Louise Lolle , Sofie Hviid and Julie Næslund. [3]
The media attention the group got from appearing on Popstars gave the group success with their debut single "I Want What She's Got" which topped the Danish single charts. [2] The single was sold in more than 30,000 copies and went triple platinum. Their debut album Let It Spin from 2001 peaked at number one on the Danish album chart and continued to place on the chart for twenty consecutive weeks. [3] The album sold 150,000 copies and got triple platinum. [3]
The group's second album Be Okay was released in 2002 and in that album the girls themselves wrote several of the songs. The album peaked at number seventeen for one week. [1] [2]
Sofie Hviid left the group in 2003, and the rest of the group disbanded shortly after that. [1] [2]
Texas are a Scottish alternative rock band from Glasgow. They were founded in 1986 by Johnny McElhone and Sharleen Spiteri on lead vocals. Texas made their performing debut in March 1988 at the University of Dundee. They took their name from the 1984 Wim Wenders movie Paris, Texas.

Sandy Mölling is a German singer and television personality. She rose to fame as one of the members of the girl group No Angels, which were formed in 2000 on the German television talent show Popstars, becoming one of the best-selling girl groups of European origin of all time. During their hiatus, Mölling released a solo album, Unexpected (2004), which produced the top ten singles "Unnatural Blonde" and "Tell Me", and became a judge on the fourth season of Popstars.

Overground was a boy band from Germany. The original group comprised singers Akay Kayed, Ken Miyao, Marq Porciuncula and Meiko Reißmann. Temptation is the debut studio album by German girl band Monrose. It was released by Starwatch Music in association with the Warner Music Group and Cheyenne Records on 8 December 2006 in German-speaking Europe, following the band's formation on the television talent show Popstars – Neue Engel braucht das Land. Pre-recorded with all six finalists of the sixth Popstars season throughout October and November 2006, jury member Dieter Falk produced the majority of the album and collaborated with producers like Jiant, Marcus Brosch, Jonas Jeberg, Toni Cottura and Marc Mozart and his Mozart & Friends team. The album is primarily a dance-pop record with influences from many the hip hop, contemporary R&B, and Europop genres.

Christopher Lund Nissen is a Danish singer from Copenhagen, signed to EMI Denmark. In November 2012, he won an award at the Danish Music Awards 2012. He was awarded New Thinker of the Year, given by Spotify as an innovation prize. Christopher released four albums, the debut Colours (2012), followed by Told You So (2014), Closer (2016) and Under the Surface (2019). Christopher's songs include "Against the Odds, "Nothing in Common", "Told You So", "CPH Girls" and "I Won't Let You Down".
Got7 is a South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment. The group is composed of seven members: Jay B, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom. Got7 debuted in January 2014 with the release of their first EP Got It?, which peaked at number two on the Gaon Album Chart and number one on Billboard's World Albums Chart. The group gained attention also for their live performances, which often include elements of martial arts tricking and street dancing.
Trine Randbo Jakobsen (born 29 September 1977) is a Danish singer, actress and television presenter. Trine became known when she along with Michael Teschl won Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 1999 and got to represent Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 1999 in Jerusalem with the song "Denne Gang". The duo sang the English version of the song "This Time I mean It". In 2001, she participated in the first season of Popstars which was broadcast on TV2.
All Saints are an English-Canadian girl group formed in London in 1993. They were founded as All Saints 1.9.7.5 by music manager Ron Tom, who later also founded Sugababes, with members Melanie Blatt, Shaznay Lewis, and Simone Rainford. The group struggled to find commercial success upon being signed to ZTT Records and were dropped by the label shortly after Rainford left the group. In 1996, the group were joined by Canadian-born sisters Nicole and Natalie Appleton and signed to London Records under their shortened name.
