Foster-Meeker House is a historic home located at Westhampton Beach in Suffolk County, New York. It was built about 1750 and is a classic Long Island, Cape Cod-type dwelling. It is a one-story, five bay, center-door dwelling whose compact massing is characteristic of mid-18th century construction. It was acquired by the Westhampton Beach Historical Society in 2008 and moved to its present location to prevent demolition. [2]

It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2009. [1]

Seth M. Gates House United States historic place

Seth M. Gates House is a historic home located at Warsaw in Wyoming County, New York. It is a two-story, wood-frame dwelling built in 1824 and expanded in about 1843. It started as a two-story, five-bay dwelling and the expansion added two bays on the north end. It features a Federal style cornice. Its owner from about 1843 until his death was Seth M. Gates, who served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1838 to 1842. From the time of his purchase, for the next 15 years the house was a station on the Underground Railroad, Gates concealing the fugitives in the cellar and attic. From 1893 to 1924, it was home to the Society of Village Works, a local charitable organization. In 1924, it was sold to the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, who owned it until turning it over to the Warsaw Historical Society in 1977 for $1.00.

Gen. William A. Mills House is a historic home located at Mount Morris in Livingston County, New York. Constructed in 1838, the Mills Homestead was the last home of Gen. William Augustus Mills (1777–1844), who was the founder and first permanent white settler of Mount Morris. It is a ​2 12-story brick dwelling combining both the Federal and Greek Revival styles. It is now headquarters of the Mount Morris Historical Society, which is responsible for the maintenance and restoration of the structure. The house is open as a historic house museum known as the Mills Mansion.

It was extensively remodeled in the early 20th century to the Colonial Revival style, when the farmhouse was more than doubled in size. It is the only surviving 19th century structure in Valley Stream. The house was the site of the village's first post office.
