Monterrey is the capital and largest city of the northeastern state of Nuevo León, Mexico, and the ninth largest city and second largest metro area in Mexico behind Greater Mexico City. Located at the foothills of the Sierra Madre Oriental, Monterrey is a major North American business and industrial hub, as well as the most populous city in Northern Mexico.
Nuevo León is a state in northeast Mexico. The state borders the Mexican states of Tamaulipas, Coahuila, Zacatecas, and San Luis Potosi, and has an extremely narrow international border with the U.S. state of Texas. With a population of 5.78 million people, it is the seventh-most populous federal entity in Mexico and the fourteenth most densely populated as of 2020. Nuevo León is the 13th-largest federal entity in Mexico by area, with a total land area of 64,156 square kilometers.
Cuautitlán Izcalli is a city and one of the 125 municipalities that make up the State of Mexico. Its municipal seat is Cuautitlán Izcalli. It is located in the Valley of Mexico area, and is part of the Metropolitan area of Mexico City. It borders to the north and northwest with Tepotzotlán, to the northeast and to the east with Cuautitlán, to the south with Tlalnepantla de Baz, to the southeast with Tultitlán, to the southwest with Atizapán de Zaragoza and to the west with the municipality of Nicolás Romero.
Plaza Sésamo is the first international co-production of the educational children's television series Sesame Street. Its first season premiered in Mexico in 1972, and the last season ended in 2018 during the holiday season and the 50th anniversary of Sesame Street, but the show returned in 2020. It has also aired throughout Latin America, to a potential audience of 25 million children in 34 countries. Unlike some of the earliest co-productions, which consisted of dubbed versions of Sesame Street sketches with local language voice-overs, Plaza Sésamo along with Vila Sésamo were actual co-productions. Half of the show was adapted from the American show, and half was original material, created in Mexico by Mexican writers, performers, and producers. The first season consisted of 130 half-hour episodes. The Plaza Sésamo development process was similar to that of the American show. Its goals were developed by local experts in television, child development, and early education during curriculum seminars in Caracas, Venezuela. Sésamo's goals emphasized problem solving and reasoning, and also included perception, symbolic representation, human diversity, and the child's environment. Other goals included community cooperation, family life, nutrition, health, safety, self-esteem, and expressing emotions. Early reading skills were taught through the whole language method. The show's budget for the first and second seasons was approximately US$1.6 million.

Arena Monterrey is an indoor arena in Monterrey, Mexico. It is primarily used for shows, concerts and indoor sports like indoor soccer, arena football and basketball. It used to be the home arena of the Monterrey Fury indoor soccer team and the Fuerza Regia, a professional basketball team in the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional; the Monterrey La Raza, a team in the NISL; and the Monterrey Steel, an indoor American football team in the National Arena League.
The Universal Forum of Cultures Monterrey 2007 was an international event that took place in the city of Monterrey, Mexico, starting on September and ending in December of mentioned year. The Forum, as it is commonly referred to, is a global event which takes place every 3 years, in a different city each time, and seeks to reunite citizens from a varied range of cultures, languages, religions to foster inter-cultural dialogue and to promote global civil society empowerment. It was the second edition of the Universal Forum of Cultures.
Marcela Guerra Castillo is a Mexican politician from Nuevo León. She was a local deputy in the Congress of Nuevo León and twice federal deputy of the Congress of Mexico. From 2012 to 2018, she was a senator representing the state of Nuevo León in the LXII and LXIII Legislatures.

The Santa Lucia riverwalk is an artificial river located in the Mexican city of Monterrey, Nuevo León.
Auditorio Citibanamex is an indoor amphitheatre, located in Fundidora Park, in Monterrey, Nuevo León. It was the primary venue for concerts until the Arena Monterrey opened in 2003. The amphitheatre opened in 1994 with a sponsorship by The Coca-Cola Company. When the venue was used less frequently, Mexican financial group Grupo Financiero Banamex, became its new sponsor with a $20 million investment. The venue closed for nearly two years to set forth renovations, which included updating the overall structure of the venue, converting it to an indoor amphitheatre. Additional upgrades included showrooms, a lounge along with other recreational areas.
Enrique Abaroa Castellanos is a landscape artist and urban architect from Monterrey, Mexico. Some of the most famous large-scale projects he has worked on are the Santa Lucia Riverwalk, the design of the Fundidora Park, la Casa de Cursillos de Cristiandad San Pedro, and Parque de Investigación e Innovación Tecnológico (PITT) His work can be seen in Nuevo Leon and Mexico.
Tecate Pa'l Norte is a music, art, and norteño traditional festival held every year since 2012, in Monterrey, Nuevo León. The event features some of the best of Latin America's most prominent talents. Pa'l Norte is considered to be one of the most popular music festivals within Latin America, and is one of the top-three most lucrative in México. As of 2022, the weekend brings the highest economic impact in the state of Nuevo León, making it a business hit for the state's tourism industry.
Machaca Fest is an annual music, art, and norteño traditional festival in Monterrey, Nuevo León, the largest city in northern Mexico. The event mainly showcases Latin American talent from Rock en español. Other musical genres are also featured.
Gira 100 años contigo was the sixth concert tour by American group Ha*Ash in support of the act's fifth studio album, 30 de Febrero (2017). The tour began in Viña del Mar, Chile on February 24, 2018, and concluded in Puebla, Mexico on September 1, 2022. A live recording was released on 6 December 2019 under the title Ha*Ash: En Vivo.
11 Razones Tour is the second concert tour by Spanish singer Aitana to promote her sophomore album 11 Razones (2020). The tour began on 1 July 2021 in Barcelona and visited bullrings, parks, amphitheatres and indoor arenas. An extension to the tour, 11 Razones + Tour began in September 2022, visiting major concert venues in Spain and Latin America until 20 December 2022.
