The GCC U-17 Championship is an annual international football competition organised by the Gulf Cooperation Council. 2001 was the first edition of the tournament and was played in a round-robin group of five nations.

The 2014 edition had been moved from Qatar to Bahrain, but was later cancelled in whole.

UAE Pro League Top division in Emirati football

The UAE Pro League, known for sponsorship reasons as the Arabian Gulf League, is the top professional football league in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The first team to win the title was Al Orouba (Sharjah), whilst Al Ain has the record with 13 league titles to their name. Fourteen clubs compete in the League that operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the First Division League.

The 2011 GCC U-17 Championship took place in Qatar from August 5 to August 15. It was the 8th edition of the tournament.

The 2011-12 Qatari League, also known as Qatari Stars League was the 39th edition of top-level football championship in Qatar. The season started on 1 September 2011 and finished on 13 April 2012. Lekhwiya won the league title.

Arab Cup U-17 Football tournament

The Arab Cup Under 17 is an international football competition organised by the Union of Arab Football Associations, contested by the national teams under 17 in the Arab World. The first edition was in 2011.

The GCC U-19 Championship is an annual international football competition organised by the Gulf Cooperation Council. 2012 was expected to be the first edition of the tournament, set to be played in Qatar, however, the first edition was played in 2015 with the 2nd edition once again hosted by Qatar in 2016.
