William Gilbert Stovall, V (born June 3, 1986) is an American former competition swimmer who represented the United States at the 2008 Olympic Games. [1] Stovall placed second in his signature event, the 200-meter butterfly, at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Omaha, Nebraska, with a career-best time of 1:53.86, which earned him a place on the U.S. Olympic team. At that time, Stovall was the second-fastest swimmer ever in that event, behind only Michael Phelps.
Stovall swam competitively for the University of Georgia from 2004 to 2008. In his final season at Georgia, he broke Melvin Stewart's 17-year-old NCAA record in the 200-yard butterfly at the NCAA Men's Swimming Championships, winning the title. Stovall coached for the Cincinnati Marlins for one season.
Gil is currently an adjunct instructor with HMTC, he is especially known for his expertise in Hazardous Material Shipment placarding.

Matthew Nicholas Biondi is an American former competitive swimmer and water polo player. As a swimmer, he is an eleven-time Olympic medalist, and former world record-holder in five events. Biondi competed in the Summer Olympic Games in 1984, 1988 and 1992, winning a total of eleven medals. During his career, he set three individual world records in the 50-meter freestyle and four in the 100-meter freestyle.
Dana Whitney Vollmer is a former American competition swimmer, five-time Olympic gold medalist, and former world record-holder. At the 2004 Summer Olympics, she won a gold medal as a member of the winning United States team in the 4×200-meter freestyle relay that set the world record in the event. Eight years later at the 2012 Summer Olympics, Vollmer set the world record on her way to the gold medal in the 100-meter butterfly, and also won golds in the 4×100-meter medley relay and 4×200-meter freestyle relay. She won three medals including a gold at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Jack Bauerle is the former head coach of the University of Georgia (UGA) men's and women's swimming teams. At the end of his coaching career, Bauerle finished his 42nd year as a head coach for the UGA women's team and his 35th year as men's head coach. Bauerle began coaching the women's team in 1979 and later became head coach for the men's team as well in 1983. He has three children, John, Magill, and Duke, who have followed in Jack's footsteps.
