Escape from Horrorland was released in 1996 on the PC. [1] The game acts as a sequel to the Goosebumps book, One Day at HorrorLand. This game features well-known actors including Adam Wylie, Eric Lloyd, Isabella Rossellini and Jeff Goldblum. It was directed by Lawrence Guterman, who went on to direct Cats & Dogs (2001) and Son of the Mask (2005).
Attack of the Mutant is a children's PC game based on the Goosebumps book Attack of the Mutant by R.L. Stine. It was developed and produced by DreamWorks Interactive and was released on September 25, 1997. It was one of the first games to use cel-shaded animation. [2] [3]
The hero gets off a bus at the wrong stop, and finds himself at the headquarters of the Masked Mutant. Within, he must work with comic book superheroes called the League of Good Guys to prevent the Masked Mutant and his evil henchmen from transforming the world into a giant comic book.
The cast of characters includes all of the comic book superheroes and supervillains featured in the original book – the Galloping Gazelle, the Masked Mutant, and the Magnificent Molecule Man – but also many original characters such as League of Good Guys members Dinah Mite, Flo, Babblin' Brook, and Feedback, the mobster villain Pinky Flamingo, plant villain Root Rot, Masked Mutant's second-in-command Chinchilla, Wartlock, and Crunch. The hero, a non-gender specific (though in-game art suggests a male) child, is a silent protagonist. The Galloping Gazelle was voiced by Adam West (who played the same role in the TV episode adaption of Attack of the Mutant) while the Masked Mutant was voiced by James Belushi.
Scholastic Book Company released a Goosebumps HorrorLand video game on October 28, 2008, in North America, and October 16, 2009, in Europe, [4] [5] [6] to tie into the series, on the Nintendo DS, [7] Wii, [8] and PlayStation 2 [9] platforms. Developed by Gusto Games in Derby, the plot follows a young child and his/her friends trapped in HorrorLand, where they must make their way through challenging levels to escape the evil theme park. Reports indicate the game is similar to the original Goosebumps HorrorLand game Goosebumps Escape From Horrorland, in which players had to beat the minigames of various levels to reveal who was behind events in the park and get back home. The official website reveals that HorrorLand in the game would have five main areas: Vampire Village (which serves as a hub connecting all the others), Mad Labs, Terror Tombs (an Egyptian-themed area), Fever Swamp, and the Carnival of Screams. [10] Several of these areas are references to classic Goosebumps books or previous depictions of HorrorLand.
The game starts off with a Horror leaving a ticket on the player's doorstep. The player tears it up but the ticket mysteriously gets put back together. Afterwards, Nate comes by and both Nate and the player set out to HorrorLand. At the beginning the player gets into the Carnival of Screams. A Horror gives the player 20 tokens for rides to start off. The player must reach the fright level to get into Vampire Village, one of the five attractions of HorrorLand. The player must get a high enough fright level to get on the Roller Ghoster and save a young girl named Gigi, who is trapped on it. After the player saves her, she joins the player to get the ticket pieces back and leave HorrorLand. Later, when the player gets to Fever Swamp, the player discovers that a show with the Great Gargantua is closed due to the monster escaping. When getting to Mad Labs, the player must collect 100 tokens to get a mask (a reference to The Haunted Mask ) and once completed it mutates the player into a Horror. This allows them to go into the Horrors Only lounge to get a piece of the ticket. While in the lounge the player gets caught by Horrifico, the king of HorrorLand. While in Mad Labs, the sound of a woman saying "If you see a girl in a blue dress holding a monster doll, do not attempt to approach her. She is extremely dangerous." will play. This is a description of Gigi. The secret of HorrorLand is finally being revealed and the player must get 50 points for the fright restriction in order to get into Terror Tombs. Getting gold on the Pharaoh's Fairway would earn the last piece of the ticket. At the end of the game the Horrors grab the player. the player gets put on the final ride called Certain Death where the player must battle through to rescue Gigi and escape. Upon exiting, the player discovers that Gigi is the Great Gargantua, as she shapeshifts into the creature, and announces her plan to turn the entire world into her own HorrorLand. As she flies away, the screen fades out to "The End".
Goosebumps: The Game is a point and click adventure game released in 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch. In the game, the players control either a boy or a girl who they name, and they go on a spooky adventure battling the Goosebumps monsters that escape from their books.

Released in 2015, Night of Scares is a mobile game where players control a young boy named "Twist" who moved to a house that was haunted by creepy characters from the Goosebumps Series. Taking place after the film, R.L. Stine is trapped inside a typewriter thanks to Slappy. They are wished luck trying to get the pages from Night Of The Living Dummy.
Goosebumps: Horror Town (sometimes spelled HorrorTown) is a mobile game. Released in 2018 for mobile, Horror Town follows Slappy and various monsters as players build their own Goosebumps-inspired town using different locations from the different Goosebumps books. [11]
A port of Night of Scares, titled Goosebumps: Dead of Night, was released in summer 2020 on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC. Goosebumps: Dead of Night includes additional content not seen in Night of Scares. The Nintendo Switch version has gyroscopic controls, HD Rumble functionality, and touchscreen support.
The Haunted Mask is the eleventh book in the original Goosebumps, the series of children's horror fiction novels created and written by R. L. Stine. The book follows Carly Beth, a girl who buys a Halloween mask from a store. After putting on the mask, she starts acting differently and discovers that the mask has become her face; she is unable to pull the mask off. R. L. Stine says he got the idea for the book from his son who had put on a Frankenstein mask he had trouble getting off.

Goosebumps is a series of horror novels written by American author R. L. Stine. The protagonists in these stories are teens or pre-teens who find themselves in frightening circumstances, often involving the supernatural, the paranormal, or the occult. Between 1992 and 1997, 62 books were published under the Goosebumps umbrella title. R. L. Stine also wrote various spin-off series, including, Goosebumps Series 2000, Give Yourself Goosebumps, Tales to Give You Goosebumps, Goosebumps Triple Header, Goosebumps HorrorLand, Goosebumps Most Wanted and Goosebumps SlappyWorld. Additionally there was a series called Goosebumps Gold that was never released.
Goosebumps Series 2000 is a spin-off of the original Goosebumps series by R. L. Stine. The cover design of the Series 2000 books was different from the original books, though the cover art was again by the same person, Tim Jacobus. There was no back tagline anymore, and the paragraphs at the back were excerpts from the book rather than a short summary of the story as the original books' back covers had. There was another difference with back covers too, as the "Reader Beware, You're In For A Scare!" of the original series was changed to "2000 Times The Scares!" and "Welcome to the new millennium of fear". Only 25 books were printed because of a dispute that R.L. Stine had with Scholastic. A 26th book, called The Incredible Shrinking Fifth Grader was planned and while it was canceled, Stine retooled it into a standalone book called The Adventures of Shrink Man.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab is an action-adventure platform game released for Microsoft Windows, Game Boy Advance, GameCube, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS and Wii by THQ. It is based on the Nickelodeon animated sitcom SpongeBob SquarePants, and stars the title character, his best friend Patrick Star and their enemy Plankton as they journey to nine different worlds, supposedly inside the dreams of the characters. The Wii version was a North American launch title. It is also the first SpongeBob game released in Japan, but was released under the title SpongeBob, to mark it as the first video game in the SpongeBob series to have a Japanese release. The PC version of the game is titled SpongeBob SquarePants: Nighty Nightmare.
Slappy the Dummy is a fictional character and the main antagonist in the Goosebumps children's series by R. L. Stine. He is one of the series' most popular villains, the main antagonist of the Night of the Living Dummy saga and the mascot of the franchise. He is also the main antagonist of the Goosebumps film and its Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween sequel, where Stine describes him as a "ventriloquist's dummy with a serious Napoleonic complex". He comes alive by these words: "Karru Marri Odonna Loma Molanu Karrano", and they can be found on a sheet of paper in Slappy's jacket pocket. After coming to life, Slappy will try to make the person who brought him to life serve him as a slave, to the point that he will frame that person for bad things that he does.

The Amazing Spider-Man is an open world video game based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man and the 2012 film of the same name. It was developed by Beenox and published by Activision. It was released on June 26 in North America and on June 29, 2012 in Europe for the Nintendo DS, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Android, iOS, and Microsoft Windows. A version for the Wii U was released in March 2013 in North America and Europe known as The Amazing Spider-Man: Ultimate Edition in both regions. A PlayStation Vita version was released in November 2013. A sequel, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, was released in April 2014, itself based on the film.
Mutant Mudds is a platform video game developed by Renegade Kid. Players control Max and Granny as they combat the titular invaders following a meteorite crash. The game was first released as a Nintendo 3DS eShop exclusive in 2012, and arrived on Microsoft Windows and iOS in 2012. An enhanced version of the game, titled Mutant Mudds Deluxe, was released in 2013 for Wii U and Microsoft Windows, and in 2016 for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4. The Nintendo 3DS version was updated as the enhanced version in 2014.
ZombiU is a first-person survival horror video game developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and published by Ubisoft. It was released for the Wii U as one of its launch games in November 2012. In the game, the player assumes control of a human survivor amid a 2012 zombie apocalypse. Featuring a permadeath system, it uses the Wii U GamePad extensively to scan the environment and maintain the survivor's inventory. The game was released under the name Zombi for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One in 2015. The port, handled by Straight Right, adds new melee weapons and removes the multiplayer feature.
Just Dance 2017 is a 2016 dance video game developed and published by Ubisoft. It was unveiled on June 13, 2016, during its E3 press conference as the eighth main installment of the series, and was released in October 2016 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii, Wii U, and Windows; and on March 3, 2017, for Nintendo Switch. From 2006 to 2019, several comic book adaptations have been printed, based on the Goosebumps books by R. L. Stine. The first was Creepy Creatures, a graphic novel compilation book in the Goosebumps Graphix line. This series began when Stine starting receiving letters from fans asking him to write more Goosebumps books. The comics have been adaptations from 10 original books and new stories from various artists. IDW Publishing would produce Goosebumps comics that were more original stories but contain characters from the books.
