The Grants Pass City Hall and Fire Station, at 4th and H Streets in Grants Pass, Oregon, was built in 1912. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. [1]
It is a two-story brick building designed by Ashland architect W.F. Bowen. [2]
It is 50 by 60 feet (15 m × 18 m) in plan. It was built to house the city hall, a jail and a fire station. A fire hose drying tower was included. [2]
New York City Hall is the seat of New York City government, located at the center of City Hall Park in the Civic Center area of Lower Manhattan, between Broadway, Park Row, and Chambers Street. Constructed from 1803 to 1812, the building is the oldest city hall in the United States that still houses its original governmental functions. The building houses the office of the Mayor of New York City and the chambers of the New York City Council. While the Mayor's Office is in the building, the staff of thirteen municipal agencies under mayoral control are located in the nearby Manhattan Municipal Building, one of the largest government buildings in the world, with many others housed in various buildings in the immediate vicinity.
The former Reading Municipal Building is a historic building at 49 Pleasant Street in Reading, Massachusetts. Built in 1885, this two-story brick building was the town's first municipal structure, housing the town offices, jail, and fire station. In 1918 all functions except fire services moved out of the building. It now serves as Reading's Pleasant Street Senior Center. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
The Denver Firefighters Museum is a museum in downtown Denver, Colorado, United States. A nonprofit institution 501 (C) (3), it consists of an 11,000-square-foot (1,000 m2) facility housing four galleries that explore the history of firefighting in Denver. Established in 1978, it is located in the 1909-built former Fire Station No. 1, a building that is a Denver Landmark and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Davenport Water Co. Pumping Station No. 2, also known as the Ripley Street Pumping Station No. 2, is a historic building located in central Davenport, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. The facility was originally built in 1884 to address problems with the city's water system, and had a reservoir that could hold 5 million US gallons of water. The building was subsequently replaced in 1986 by a smaller plain structure on the same property facing West 14th Street. Despite being replaced, the station remains an important part of Davenport's history, as it was an essential component of the city's water system and contributed to the growth of its residential areas above the bluff line from 1880 to 1920.
New Jersey Hall is a historic education building located on the campus of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Built in 1889 under the leadership of President Merrill Edward Gates, it housed the Agricultural Experiment Station.
The city of Birmingham, Alabama, saw a vast period of growth in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. With its growth came an expansion in city services, notably the fire department. A number of new stations were constructed from 1910 through 1929, many of which are still standing. Together, ten of these historic fire stations are listed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Historic Fire Stations of Birmingham Multiple Property Submission.
The Deerfield Center Historic District encompasses the heart of the rural New Hampshire town of Deerfield. It extends northwest along Church Street from its junction with North Road, Candia Road, and Raymond Road. It was built from 1906 to 1907 to house the Owatonna Fire Department and city government offices. The city offices were relocated to the former campus of the Minnesota State Public School for Dependent and Neglected Children in 1974. The Firemen's Hall continues to serve as the headquarters for the Owatonna Fire Department.
The Ethan Allen Engine Company No. 4 is a historic former fire and police station at 135 Church Street in Burlington, Vermont, United States. Built in 1887 for a private fire company, it is a fine local example of 19th-century commercial architecture. It served the city as a fire and police station until the 1960s, and is now used as a commercial space. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971, and is a contributing property to the City Hall Park Historic District.
Monte Vista Fire Station is a historic former fire station in the Nob Hill neighborhood of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Built in 1936 using Works Progress Administration funding, it is notable as a well-preserved WPA municipal project and for its significance in the early development of the Nob Hill area. The building served in its original role as a fire station until 1972 and currently houses a restaurant. It is the city's third oldest surviving fire station after the AT&SF Fire Station, built in 1920, and the old station #2 on the corner of High St. and Silver Ave. opened in 1926.
