"Gravity" is a song by English recording artist Pixie Lott from her debut album, Turn It Up (2009). Written by Ina Wroldsen, Jonas Jeberg, Mich Hansen and Lucas Secon, the song was released as the album's fourth single on 8 March 2010.
"Gravity" was co-penned by Norwegian songwriter Ina Wroldsen (responsible for many of The Saturdays' hits), the Danish duo Jonas Jeberg and Cutfather (Kylie Minogue, Pussycat Dolls) and Danish-American songwriter and producer Lucas Secon (who has worked with the Pussycat Dolls, Sugababes and Sean Kingston, amongst others). "Gravity" received mixed to positive reviews from music critics. Fraser McAlpine of the BBC Chart Blog gave the song a mixed review, stating that "there's a big problem with this song, one which it will take more than an impassioned delivery and immaculate production to get around." He also compared the song to "No Air" by American singer Jordin Sparks. [2] Nevertheless, while reviewing Turn It Up, Digital Spy music editor Nick Levine referred to the track as one of the album's highlights. [3]
"Gravity" entered the UK Singles Chart at number seventy-three on the issued dated 14 February 2010. The following week, the single climbed to number Sixty-Eight. On 28 February, it climbed another two positions to number sixty-six on the UK Singles Chart, finally reaching a peak position of number twenty.
The music video for the song, directed by Nick Frew, was shot in January 2010 and premiered on 6 February 2010 on Channel 4 in the UK. It features Lott and two backup dancers performing a contemporary routine in black tutus, Lott standing on a platform in a burlesque-inspired outfit (with a black-feathered dress, thigh high boots and brunette bob, with a red circle behind her) and also performing an aerial silk routine in a red catsuit. Lott is also seen singing while lying down against a mirrored surface, giving the impression she is floating in air.
On making the video for "Gravity", Frew stated:
Gravity was about unfussy elegance. I wasn't interested in show-stopping special effects and clever clever post—just simple in camera techniques addressing the concept. So long as Pixie looked stunning I was happy—It was liberating, for once, to put beauty first.
The best part? For the red dot set-up, I wanted Pixie stock still, looking utterly sensational. Michelle Kelly did me proud with this massive, feathery, one-off Kristian Aadnevik showpiece. As soon as Pixie appeared wearing it with her black wig, there was a real buzz on set. Karen Alder (make up artist) did an amazing job on Pixie's jewel encrusted eyes – I love the way she works.
Under Eric Maddison's lights, swinging her dress around her, Pixie had the whole crew gathered round the monitor, cooing. It was incredibly satisfying. [4]

"If This Is Love" is the debut single by English-Irish girl group The Saturdays from their debut album, Chasing Lights (2008). It was co-written by Joe Belmaati, Michaela Breen, Vince Clarke, Mich Hansen, Alison Moyet, John Reid, Remee and Ina Wroldsen. The song was produced by Belmaati in collaboration with Cutfather. The track samples a heavily synthesised backing rhythm from Yazoo's 1982 song "Situation".
"When I Grow Up" is a song by American girl group the Pussycat Dolls from their second studio album Doll Domination (2008). It was released by Interscope Records on May 27, 2008, as the lead single from the album. It was first recorded for Nicole Scherzinger's planned solo project, Her Name Is Nicole, but after its cancellation and Scherzinger's return to the group, she felt that the song was better suited for the group. "When I Grow Up" was written by Theron Thomas, Timothy Thomas, and Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, who also produced the song. It is an uptempo electropop and R&B song, sampling the 1966 song, "He's Always There" by British rock band The Yardbirds. "When I Grow Up" speaks about the desire to be famous, and was described as being "autobiographical" by Scherzinger.
"Up" is a song by British-Irish recording girl group The Saturdays from their debut studio album, Chasing Lights (2008). It was co-written by the track's producers, Josef Larossi and Andreas Romdhane of Quiz & Larossi, in collaboration with Ina Wroldsen. "Up" was first released by Fascination and Polydor Records on 13 October 2008 as the second single from Chasing Lights. It was accompanied by a B-side entitled "Crashing Down"; originally recorded by the Nolans in 1982, and written by Benjamin Findon, Robert Puzey and Mike Myers, and produced by Jewels & Store. The Saturdays previously collaborated with Ina Wroldsen for their debut single "If This Is Love", as well as on six other tracks chosen for the album. Future singles including Ego, also came from collaboration with Ina Wroldsen and Rhys Barker. The song is upbeat and, has prominent pop and electropop genre characteristics. It contains lyrical influences from feelings of feminism and self-confidence in a personal relationship with your lover.
"I Hate This Part" is a song by American girl group the Pussycat Dolls from their second album, Doll Domination (2008). The song was written by Wayne Hector, Lucas Secon, Jonas Jeberg, Mich Hansen and produced by the latter two along with Ron Fair and Nicole Scherzinger. It was initially recorded for Scherzinger's planned solo project, Her Name is Nicole, but after its cancellation the song was placed in the group's second album. "I Hate This Part" was released on October 14, 2008, as the second international single and impacted contemporary hit radio stations on October 20, 2008, as the fourth single in the United States by Interscope Records. "I Hate This Part" is a dance/R&B-influenced pop ballad which ditches the Pussycat Dolls's usual sexual image in favor of introspection. Lyrically, the song is about the conversation before a breakup.
"Hush Hush; Hush Hush" is the remix of "Hush Hush", a song by American female group The Pussycat Dolls. The track was written by Andreas Romdhane, Josef Larossi, Ina Wroldsen, Nicole Scherzinger, Dino Fekaris, and Freddie Perren and produced by the former two alongside Ron Fair and Dave Audé is included on the reissues of the group's second album Doll Domination (2008). It was released on May 12, 2009 by Interscope Records as the album's seventh overall and final single. It is also the group's final release before their disbandment in 2010 until they reformed in 2019. Originally a ballad on the album, the song was remixed for its release as a single with a more uptempo disco-influenced production and interpolation of Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" (1978) with lyrics alluding to a doomed relationship.

The EP is an extension of the group's second studio album, Doll Domination (2008), including some previously released singles, such as "When I Grow Up", "Whatcha Think About That" and "I Hate This Part", as well as three new songs. The Mini Collection was one of several reissues released throughout 2009 as further promotion for the Doll Domination era, being released in between the European and Australasian legs of the group's Doll Domination Tour. It debuted at number nine on both the Scottish Albums Chart and UK Albums Chart, and would go on to be certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) for sales of at least 100,000 in the UK.
"Nasty" is a song by English singer Pixie Lott from her self-titled third studio album (2014). It was released on 7 March 2014 as the album's lead single by Mercury Records. The accompanying music video was filmed in November 2013 and directed by Bryan Barber. A second version featured British band The Vamps was released in the same day only in United Kingdom and Ireland.
