Hanna, Marchioness of Guadiaro (born Hanna Jazmin Jaff Bosdet; November 4, 1986) is an American-born Mexican television personality who runs the non-profit Jaff Foundation for Education. She is married to Francisco de Borja Queipo de Llano y Campomanes, 6th Marquess of Guadiaro and eldest son of the 12th Count of Toreno.

Early life

Hanna Jaff was born in San Diego, California. [3] She is a paternal descendant of the Jaff tribe [4] and a maternal descendant of Carlos Henry Bosdet. [3]

After graduating high school in San Diego, Jaff completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the National University. [5] She later completed a Master's degree in International Relations at the Harvard Extension School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Additionally, she intermittently attended La Sorbonne in Paris, King's College in London, and Columbia University in New York for extended programs both during and after completing her degrees. Career

In 2013-2018, Jaff held a number of political roles at the Institutional Revolutionary Party in Mexico, such as Undersecretary of Immigrants, [9] Undersecretary of Relations with the Civil Society [10] and of Revolutionary Youth Expression. [11] [12]

In 2013, Jaff founded the Jaff Foundation for Education, which she currently runs. [13] The organization's goal is to improve education in Mexico through teaching the English language. To that end, Jaff has published English manuals and created scholarships, which the foundation donates to students. [14] [13] The foundation maintains offices in several states in Mexico. [13]

Jaff has been a speaker at three TEDx Talks events in Mexico. [15] [16] [17]

In 2017, Jaff launched a clothing line [18] with the name We Are One Campaign [19] to show support for the victims of war in the Middle East. [20]

In 2018, Netflix announced that Jaff would be one of the cast members of the television show Made in Mexico , which began airing on September 28, 2018. [21] [22]

Jaff has appeared in several Mexican media outlets, including Forbes [23] 100 most powerful women in Mexico [24] and Caras magazine. [25]

In 2021, Jaff was named Kindness Ambassador for UNESCO MGEIP global campaign. [26]

In 2022, she was an executive producer of animated movie: “Águila y Jaguar: Los Guerreros Legendarios”. [27] [28] [29]

Personal life

Jaff married Harry Roper-Curzon in February 2020 and divorced [1] two years later. [30] [31] [32]

In September 2022, she married Francisco de Borja Queipo de Llano, 6th Marquess of Guadiaro, Grandee of Spain, Knight of the Royal Maestranza of Cavalry of Granada, and heir to the Count of Toreno and other noble titles. [33] [34] [35]

Jaff is the largest Kurdish tribe also known as clan, living in the borderlands of Iran and Iraq. Their heartland is between Sulaymaniyah to Sanandaj. The tribe predominantly adheres to the Shafi'i school with many Naqshbandi and Qadiriyya followers. It originated in the year 1114 by Zaher Beg Jaff, other important leaders were Mohamed Pasha Jaff, Lady Adela, Osman Pasha Jaff and Mahmud Pasha Jaff, their ancestral home is Sherwana Castle. The Ottoman Empire bestowed on them the name Pasha, a noble title, in the 1700s. They are the biggest Kurdish tribe in the Middle East with approximately 4 million people and they speak Babani Sorani. They ruled the Ardalan Principality until the 1860s.

The 2019 Categoría Primera A season was the 72nd season of Colombia's top-flight football league. The season began on 25 January and concluded on 7 December. Junior entered the season as defending champions having won the 2018 Finalización tournament and successfully defended the title in the Torneo Apertura, beating Deportivo Pasto 5–4 on penalties after a 1–1 draw on aggregate to claim their ninth domestic league title on 12 June. Junior's winning streak was stopped in the Torneo Finalización by América de Cali, who won their fourteenth Primera A title and first since 2008 on 7 December by defeating the defending champions 2–0 on aggregate in the finals.
