Politiken is a leading Danish daily broadsheet newspaper, published by JP/Politikens Hus in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was founded in 1884 and played a role in the formation of the Danish Social Liberal Party. Since 1970 it has been independent of the party but maintains a liberal stance. It now runs an online newspaper, politiken.dk. The paper's design has won several international awards, and a number of its journalists have won the Cavling Prize.

He was a co-author of the Akkari-Laban dossier, which played a major role in the Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons controversy by bringing the issue to the attention of influential decision-makers in the Middle East. In 2013 he distanced himself from his former position and in June 2020 became one of the founders of the political party New Centre-Left.
Anne-Grete Rendtorff is a Danish singer, who was most popular in the 1980s. She was a member of Van Dango in the period 1975-1981. In 1980 she launched her solo career. Anne-Grete is probably best known for the song "Vintertur på strøget", which is a cover of "Complainte pour Ste-Catherine" by Kate & Anna McGarrigle. This song is also covered by Marie Bergman: "Ingen kommer undan politiken". In 1984 she had a local pop hit, recording a Danish version of Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton's "Islands in the Stream" with Peter Thorup.

Lars Winde is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper for Danish Superliga clubs Esbjerg fB and Aalborg BK (AaB) as well as Austrian Bundesliga side SW Bregenz. Winde played seven games for the Denmark U21 national team.
Blue Night is the fifth studio album by Danish soft rock band Michael Learns to Rock (MLTR). It was released on 1 November 2000 by Medley Records (EMI). The album was produced by Boe Larsen with band member Mikkel Lentz, who makes his debut as a songwriter on the song "Tell It to Your Heart". It is the first Michael Learns to Rock album since the departure of bass guitar player Søren Madsen in July 2000; however, his name is still credited on "More Than a Friend". This album was remastered by ADMS on Warner Music label in 2014 due to Michael Learns to Rock 25th anniversary celebrations.

He is also a former assistant coach and caretaker head coach of Aalborg BK, and was the assistant of head coach Erik Hamrén in the 2008 Superliga-winning season, as well as assistant of Kent Nielsen in the 2014 Superliga-winning season.
Camilla Broe is the first Danish citizen to be extradited to a country outside the European Union, when she was handed over to the American police after being indicted on 14 counts of drug trafficking. She would have faced a sentence of up to 60 years in prison if she were convicted, but would have served only 6 months in the US before being deported to Denmark to serve another 2 to 8 years.

Hans Carl Jensen (1887–1961) was a Danish painter and newspaper illustrator. His debut was at Kunsternes Efterårsudstilling in 1915. With his early compositions, he was one of those who brought Cubism to Denmark. He worked as an illustrator for a variety of newspapers and journals including Klods-Hans, Gnisten, Blæksprutten, Ekstra Bladet and Politiken.

Anders Lund Madsen is a Danish journalist, comedian, author, radio personality and talkshow host. He hosts the talkshow "Det Nye Talkshow – med Anders Lund Madsen". Together with his brother Peter Lund Madsen, he has performed several shows at the Bellevue Theater and in Bremen Theater. Together they wrote the lyrics of the song "Avenuen", which was part of one of their shows performed by Trine Dyrholm. They have also participated in the quiz program Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? where they have twice won the main prize of 1 million kroner.
Zenia Stampe Lyngbo is a Danish politician, who is a member of the Folketing for the Social Liberal Party. She was elected into parliament at the 2011 Danish general election.
Rasmus Paludan is a Danish-Swedish politician and lawyer, who is the founder and leader of the Danish political party Stram Kurs. Paludan has become known for his extremist views, including that Islam should be banned and that non-Western citizens should be deported from Denmark. He is considered by political scientists and media to be far-right and a right-wing extremist.
