Hans Folke "Hasse" Alfredson was a Swedish actor, film director, writer, and comedian. He was born in Malmö, Sweden. He is known for his collaboration with Tage Danielsson as the duo Hasse & Tage and their production company AB Svenska Ord. His most celebrated contribution to their brand of humorist humanism was his ability to extemporize wildly absurd comic situations, for example in the Lindeman dialogues.

The 70th annual Berlin International Film Festival took place from 20 February to 1 March 2020. Hope is a 2019 Norwegian semi-autobiographical drama film directed by Maria Sødahl, based on the experience she faced with her husband, director Hans Petter Moland, when, nine years earlier, she had received a terminal diagnosis of brain cancer and was given by doctors only three months to live. The film was selected as the Norwegian entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 93rd Academy Awards, making the shortlist of fifteen films. The film premiered at the 44th Toronto International Film Festival on 7 September 2019 and was first theatrically released in Norway on 22 November 2019.
Maria Sødahl is a Norwegian film director and screenwriter who is best known for her internationally acclaimed film Hope (2019) and Limbo (2010). The former earned her the nomination of European Film Award for Best Director in 2020.
The 71st annual Berlin International Film Festival took place from 1 to 5 March 2021 as a virtual festival due to the COVID-19 pandemic. An in-person event has also been tentatively scheduled for June, pending the resolution of the COVID-19 issue.
