Benjamin Hayes Grier (born June 8, 2000) [1] is an American Internet personality. He became known for his popularity on the Vine, a now-defunct video sharing service.
Grier is the third child of four in his family. His oldest brother, Will, completed his college football career in 2018 as the starting quarterback for West Virginia University and was chosen by the Carolina Panthers in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He has another older brother, Nash, who is also known for posting videos on Vine. [2]
Grier was a celebrity contestant on the 21st season of Dancing With The Stars , partnering with Emma Slater. Competing at age 15, he is the youngest male contestant to have ever been on the show. [3] On October 26 (Week 7), Grier and Slater were eliminated and finished the competition in 8th place, with the show's co-host, Tom Bergeron, remarking that he was "leaving on a night when he excelled." [4] Shortly after leaving the show, Grier signed a deal with Creative Artists Agency for media and publishing exposure [5] and announced that he'd be joining the Dancing With The Stars Tour in early 2015. [6] Hayes is also in the Hulu TV show called Freakish season one and has a reality show on the app go90 called Top Grier.[ citation needed ]
In November 2016, Grier released his first novel, Hollywood Days with Hayes. [7] In 2017, Verizon renewed Top Grier for two more seasons. The show revolves around the life of the 17-year old digital influencer and his family and friends. [8]
On July 28, 2016 it was reported that Grier was involved in a dirt bike accident and was sent to the hospital. [9] He had several broken bones but was released two days later on July 30. [10]
On July 31, 2021, Grier was arrested on outstanding warrants from California. Grier was charged with felony conspiracy, common law robbery, and assault causing serious bodily injury, after allegedly assaulting a man and robbing him of his $1,200 cell phone. [11] The charges were dropped on November 1 due to insufficient evidence. [12]

David Alan Grier is an American actor and comedian. He began his career by portraying Jackie Robinson in the 1981 Broadway production The First, for which he earned a nomination at the 36th Tony Awards for Best Featured Actor in a Musical. In 1982, he played James "Thunder" Early in the Broadway musical Dreamgirls. He then appeared in the Robert Altman film Streamers (1983) as Roger, a role for which he won the Volpi Cup for Best Actor at the Venice Film Festival.

In his 17 seasons as a competing pro on the show, Chmerkovskiy made it to the final round five times, with two runner-up and two third-place finishes. On May 20, 2014, Chmerkovskiy, paired with Olympic ice dancer Meryl Davis, won his first Dancing with the Stars title. Chmerkovskiy has also starred in the Broadway productions of dance shows Burn the Floor and Forever Tango.

He was awarded the United States Army's Soldier's Medal from U.S. President Barack Obama. All six received France's highest decoration, the Chevalier of the Legion of Honour, from French president François Hollande. The Americans were also awarded the medal of the city of Arras.

In August 2015, Stone, along with friends Alek Skarlatos and Anthony Sadler and three other passengers, as well as an off-duty conductor, while travelling from Amsterdam on a high speed, Paris-bound train, disarmed and subdued a solitary, heavily armed Moroccan terrorist. Three days later, French President François Hollande awarded Stone, Sadler, and Skarlatos, as well as British citizen Chris Norman, the Legion of Honour. Stone was recognized by U.S. Ambassador to France Jane D. Hartley for "his actions in saving countless lives" and by U.S. President Barack Obama, with a ceremony held at The Pentagon to honor the trio. For his bravery, Stone was awarded the Airman's Medal and a Purple Heart.
