Helmut Rethemeier (born 8 June 1939) is a German equestrian and Olympic medalist. He competed in eventing at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, and won a silver medal with the German team. [1]

Pensperger was posthumously awarded the gold medal while Siebert and his surviving teammates Helmut Werzer and Roland Ebert received their golds as well. Siebert also finished fifth in the four-man event at the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck.

Helmut Novy is a German ice hockey player, who competed for SG Dynamo Weißwasser. He won the bronze medal at the 1966 European Championships. He also competed at the 1968 Winter Olympics when the East German team finished in eighth place out of 14. He scored 1 goal in the tournament against the strong Czechoslovakian team.

He died in November 2013 at the age of 97 in Geretsried.
