Thirsty Merc are an Australian pop rock band formed in 2002 by Rai Thistlethwayte, Phil Stack, Karl Robertson (drums), and Matthew Baker (guitar). In 2004, Baker was replaced by Sean Carey, who was, in turn, replaced by Matt Smith in 2010. Thirsty Merc have released one extended play, First Work, and five studio albums: Thirsty Merc, Slideshows, Mousetrap Heart, Shifting Gears, and Celebration. The band have sold over 200,000 albums, toured extensively around Australia, and received national radio airplay for their tracks.
Evermore were a rock band formed in Feilding, New Zealand in 1999, made up of three brothers Jon, Peter and Dann Hume. The band was based in Sydney from 2004 to 2007 and then Melbourne until they became inactive in 2014. Evermore released four studio albums: Dreams (2004), Real Life (2006), Truth of the World: Welcome to the Show (2009), and Follow the Sun (2012), as well as a self-titled compilation album (2010). Real Life and Truth of the World were their highest charting studio albums in New Zealand and Australia, while Dreams and Real Life received platinum certifications from Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA).
Big Pig was an Australian funk, rock and pop band that existed from 1985 to 1991. An early line-up was Sherine Abeyratne on lead vocals and percussion ; Tony Antoniades on vocals and harmonica; Neil Baker on drums; Nick Disbray on vocals and percussion; Tim Rosewarne on vocals and keyboards (ex-Bang); Adrian Scaglione on drums; and Oleh Witer on vocals and percussion (ex-Bang). They issued two albums, Bonk and You Lucky People, on the White Label Records imprint of Mushroom Records.

Boom Crash Opera are an Australian pop rock band formed in early 1985. Initially they were based around the songwriting partnership of Richard Pleasance on guitar, bass guitar and vocals; and Peter Farnan on guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, and vocals. Pleasance developed tinnitus from constant exposure to loud live music & left in 1992 to pursue a solo career as an artist & producer. The group also included Dale Ryder on vocals, Peter Maslen on drums, percussion and vocals; and from 1992 Ian Tilley on bass guitar and vocals.
Hearts of the Innocent is the fourth album released by the Christian rock band Kutless. A special edition of this album was also released. It included a DVD with all seven of the band's music videos, as well as four bonus acoustic tracks added to the CD. The song "Shut Me Out" was once in the top 5 on ChristianRock.net, and "Somewhere in the Sky" was the 16th most requested song. This is their first record to feature bass player Dave Leutkenhoelter and drummer Jeff Gilbert. It is also the last studio album to feature original guitarist Ryan Shrout, though their live album Live from Portland was his last record of any kind released with the band. The album reached No. 45 on the Billboard 200 chart and No. 2 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums.
Real Life is the second studio album by Evermore, released on 8 July 2006. It debuted on the ARIA Charts at number five and on the Recording Industry Association of New Zealand charts at number two. It reached double-platinum certification in Australia. Four singles were released: "Running", "Light Surrounding You", "Unbreakable" and "Never Let You Go".
Dreams is the debut album by Evermore, released on 27 September 2004 in Australia, 8 October 2004 in New Zealand and 23 May 2006 in the US. The album peaked at No. 15 on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart, and received platinum accreditation in 2005. The album was nominated for four ARIA Music Awards in 2005. It reached No. 30 on the Official New Zealand Music Chart for albums.
"Running" is the lead single from New Zealand alternative rock band Evermore's second studio album, Real Life (2006). The song was written by drummer Dann Hume and co-produced by lead vocalist Jon Hume with John Alagía. "Running" was issued on 5 June 2006, a month ahead of the album. The track subsequently peaked at No. 4 on New Zealand's RIANZ Singles Chart and No. 5 on Australia's ARIA Singles Chart.
"Come to Nothing" is the third single by Evermore, taken from their debut album, Dreams. It was released in May 2005 and peaked at No. 51 on the ARIA Singles Chart. My Own Way EP is the third extended play (EP) by Evermore, which was released on 15 September 2003. Evermore made two music videos for tracks on the five-track EP, "Hold Off" and "My Own Way". Although it did not reache the top 100 of the ARIA Singles chart, it reached No. 11 on the related ARIA Hitseekers Singles chart. It was recorded with the line-up of Jon Hume on guitars and vocals; Dann Hume on drums and vocals and Peter Hume on bass guitar, keyboards and vocals. The three brothers wrote all the tracks. They supported its release with their third tour of Australia within two years.
"Light Surrounding You" is the second single by alternative rock band, Evermore, taken from their second studio album, Real Life. It was written by Dann Hume, the group's drummer. The record is co-produced by Jon Hume. The song was released in October 2006 and peaked at No. 15 on the RIANZ Singles Chart in New Zealand and number one on the ARIA Singles Chart, making it Evermore's most successful single in Australia. It was the first single by a New Zealand artist to top the Australian charts since "How Bizarre" by OMC in 1996.
Peter Elisha Hume is a New Zealand singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and art director; originally from Whangaparaoa. Hume is the middle of three brothers who make up the multi-platinum award winning band Evermore. Hume has contributed to songs for Evermore and also sung lead vocals on some of the band's album tracks. In 2008, Hume was shortlisted for the Cleo Bachelor of the Year award.
"Unbreakable" is the third single by Evermore, taken from their second studio album Real Life. The single was released as the Unbreakable Live EP.
"Rosanna" is a song written by David Paich and performed by the American rock band Toto, the opening track and the first single from their 1982 album Toto IV. This song won the Grammy Award for Record of the Year at the 1983 ceremony. "Rosanna" was also nominated for the Song of the Year award. It is regarded for the half-time shuffle which drummer Jeff Porcaro developed for the song. The groove has become an important staple of drum repertoire and is commonly known as the "Rosanna shuffle".
"Between the Lines" is the first single by Evermore, taken from their third studio album Truth of the World: Welcome to the Show. Evermore's Jon Hume said that "Between the Lines was the first song to come out of a search for a new musical experience as a band." It was released as a free download on Evermore's official website on 10 November 2008.
Truth of the World: Welcome to the Show is the third studio album by Evermore, released on 20 March 2009. The album is a concept album about trash media, political propaganda, advertising and infotainment.
Evermore is a self-titled greatest hits album by New Zealand rock band Evermore released on 14 October 2009 in the UK and 12 March 2010 in Australia and New Zealand. The album is a collection of songs from the band's entire history, as well as three new songs including the single "Underground". It was the band's first album to be released in Europe, following a recording contract with Warner Bros. The new songs were written while the band was a supporting act for Pink's Funhouse Tour in Europe. Band member Jon Hume described the album as "a crazy mishmash of all the music that [Evermore has] made over the last seven or eight years".
From the Outside is the second studio album by American pop rock band Hey Violet. It was released on June 16, 2017, by Hi or Hey Records and Capitol Records. It is their first album since their name change from Cherri Bomb to Hey Violet. It also serves as the group's first album without former lead singer Julia Pierce, and the first with new members Casey Moreta, and Iain Shipp. The album's sound has been described as "post-EDM pop rock". This is the group's final album to feature founding member Miranda Miller, who announced her departure from the band via social media on August 31, 2017.
