Los Angeles Times critic Michael Rechtshaffen stated: "A criminally inept throwback to '90s urban gangsta movie posturing that plays like a stone-faced version of the 1996 Wayans brothers spoof, Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood ". [5] According to Glenn Kenny of The New York Times , the movie "sometimes manages to bring a scary whiff of the street into its sounds and images". [1]

Cameron Ezike Giles, better known by his stage name Cam'ron, is an American rapper, record executive, and actor from Harlem, New York City. John Turturro American actor (born 1957)

John Michael Turturro is an American actor and filmmaker. He is known for his contributions to the independent film movement. He has appeared in over sixty feature films and has worked frequently with the Coen brothers, Adam Sandler, and Spike Lee. He began his acting career on-screen in the early 1980s, and received early critical recognition with the independent film Five Corners (1987). Turturro's mainstream breakthrough came with Lee's Do the Right Thing (1989) and the Coens' Miller's Crossing (1990) and Barton Fink (1991), for which he won the Best Actor Award at the Cannes Film Festival. His subsequent roles included Herb Stempel in Quiz Show (1994), Jesus Quintana in both The Big Lebowski (1998) and The Jesus Rolls (2020), Pete in O Brother, Where Art Thou? Stacey Lauretta Dash is an American actress and former talk show host. Dash played Dionne Marie Davenport in the 1995 feature film Clueless and its television series of the same name. She has also appeared in the films Moving, Mo' Money, Renaissance Man, and View from the Top. Other television work by Dash includes appearances in the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Single Ladies and the reality TV show Celebrity Circus. She has also appeared in music videos for Carl Thomas' "Emotional" and Kanye West's "All Falls Down".

Radmila Lolly, is a Russian-American singer, songwriter, and fashion designer. Her songs "U R Moving Me" and "Tonight" charted on Billboard Dance Club Songs list at positions 21 and 40 respectively. Her two studio albums were premiered at New York's Carnegie Hall and six of her songs were featured on the soundtrack for the film Honor Up, directed by Damon Dash.
