In August 2019, global consulting firm Booz Allen announced a venture with Hypergiant to deliver AI products for public sector clients. [12] [13] In September 2019, its algae-based air cleaner, was noted by Fast Company as a "world-changing idea", [14] and was reviewed in Popular Mechanics , [10] and other media. [15] [2]

After leading the organization for nine years, Oren Etzioni stepped down from his role as CEO on September 30, 2022.
