IMC Technologies is technology company headquartered in Athens, Greece. Founded in 2004, by Panos Georgolios, Konstantinos Kafentzis and George Papavassiliou, IMC Technologies provides knowledge management software. Its products include edialogos, [1] knowledge accelerator and appweevr. [2]

In 2008, IMC Technologies founder Panos Georgolios was awarded the Young Entrepreneur Award by the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry [3] Company revenue at that time had increased more than 300% since its beginning. [4]

In the 2013 European Business Awards, IMC Technologies was announced as a national champion for Greece. [5]

In the 2013 WebitCongress, IMC Big Data Platform, Appweevr, was presented as a top 20 startup app. [6]

Inspiring Education: A Dialogue with Albertans Place

Inspiring Education: A Dialogue with Albertans is an initiative enacted in 2009 by the Minister of Education of Alberta, Canada, David Hancock and Alberta Education to encourage discussion relating to building a long-term education framework focusing on values, goals, and processes. One of the primary objectives of the project is to reach a clear understanding of what it will mean to be an "Educated Albertan" in the year 2029, and to create a policy framework for that 20-year time period. The dialogue is based on five key values identified from the government caucus – opportunity, fairness, citizenship, choice and diversity. The policy of public engagement highlighted as the foundation of the project was influenced by the concept of Dialogic learning, as well as a number of other sources. The two committees responsible for supporting the Inspiring Education initiative are the "Steering Committee" and the "Working Committee." The purpose of the Steering Committee is, "to guide and act as ambassadors for the project." These members are also designated as the public authors of the broad outlines of a policy framework resulting from the dialogue. The Working Committee will support the Steering Committee and the Ministry of Education in creating this framework, and are responsible for providing regular updates on progress made.

Thanassis Stephopoulos Greek painter

The Edmonton Storm are one of three Alberta-based women's tackle football teams in the Western Women's Canadian Football League, competing in the league's Western Conference. The Storm play competitive, full-contact tackle football under the Canadian Amateur football rules provided by Football Canada. Prior to the formation of the WWCFL, the Storm competed in the Western Canadian Female Football League, capturing the league title in 2010. Founded in 2004, the Storm competed in the inaugural WWCFL championship game. Their provincial rivals are the Calgary Rage and the Lethbridge Steel. The current head coach is Eric Theroux.
