Vincent John Martin,known professionally as Vince Clarke,is an English synth-pop musician and songwriter. Clarke has been the main composer and musician of the band Erasure since its inception in 1985,and was previously the main songwriter for several groups,including Depeche Mode,Yazoo,and the Assembly. In Erasure,he is known for his deadpan and low-key onstage demeanour,often remaining motionless over his keyboard,in sharp contrast to lead vocalist Andy Bell's animated and hyperactive frontman antics.
Mindless Self Indulgence is an American electropunk band formed in New York City in 1997. Their music has a mixed style which includes punk rock,alternative rock,electronica,techno,industrial,hip hop,and breakbeat hardcore.
You Can Dance is the first remix album by American singer and songwriter Madonna. It was released on November 17,1987,by Sire Records. The album contains remixes of tracks from her first three studio albums—Madonna (1983),Like a Virgin (1984) and True Blue (1986)—and a new track,"Spotlight". In the 1980s,remixing was still a new concept and technology,by which a particular vocal phrase could be endlessly copied,repeated,chopped up,transposed up and down in pitch and give them more echo,reverberation,treble or bass. Madonna became interested in the concept,noting that she hated when others remixed her songs and wanted to do it by herself.
You'll Rebel to Anything is the third studio album by New York City band Mindless Self Indulgence released on April 12,2005. The album was released outside of the US on November 5,2007,in an "Expanded and Remastered" edition. On January 22,2008,the "Expanded and Remastered" version,which features a reordered track list,was released in the US. Another variation of the Expanded and Remastered version was released which included four bonus tracks. The Expanded and Remastered version,both with and without bonus tracks,as well as the clean version of the album,can be streamed digitally. A special Japanese version,titled お前は何にでも反発する(難問じゃない限り [You'll Rebel to Anything ] of the remastered edition was released on March 5,2008,which includes a slightly reordered track list and 10 bonus tracks,including a demo version of "Bomb This Track",the completed version of which can be found on If. An alternate version of the album was released on vinyl in 2017,then again in 2022,featuring the original track list along with four different bonus tracks.

Exceeder had originally been an instrumental and had received a vinyl-only release in the UK in 2006. The new version of the track,"Perfect (Exceeder)",is a mashup with American rapper Princess Superstar's song "Perfect" and reached number 3 on the national British chart in January 2007. The track was a big hit in many countries worldwide. He also had chart success in 2011 with his song "Runaway"—which is a modern version of "Runaway" by Eruption,and "Boadicea",featuring Róisín Murphy—in 2016 with "Fashion Killa",and with many club releases since. Mason is the owner of the record label Animal Language.

"This Is Your Night" is a song recorded by Dutch singer Amber,released on 21 May 1996 as the lead single from her debut album of the same name (1996). It is written by Amber,and produced by the Berman Brothers and other programmers. In January 1996,a promotional version of this track was released to select Rhythmic Top 40/dance radio stations in New York and Chicago. This version,received minimal airplay before being replaced entirely with the now known "Original Edit," and was never released on any album or single.
