Imperio Properties [1] is a property development and management firm, based in Cyprus, since 2003. Imperio completed fifty projects, and its biggest project is The Icon tower, which has been completed in 2021. [2] [3]
Imperio's directors are the brothers Yiannis Misirlis and Antonis Misirlis. Yiannis is married to Ino Anastasiades, daughter of Nicos Anastasiades, the President of Cyprus. [4]
Yiannis Misirlis is the founder and a director at Imperio Group. [5] Yiannis was educated in London and Madrid, and holds a BSc in Civil Engineering, an MSc in Information Technology, and an International MBA. He is also a current member of Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK). Yiannis is currently the vice-chairman of the Board of the Land and Building Developers Association of Cyprus (LBDA), [6] and is sitting on the Board of Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI). [7] Yiannis has been a regular contributor to OPPLive (one of Europe's largest property fairs) covering issues related to the Cyprus property market. He is also a regular contributor to the business columns of Phileleftheros, Politis and Simerini (local newspapers) analysing investment trends related to the property market, as well as trends related to interior design and property management and has, in the past, contributed to columns in the Financial Times and the Hong Kong Times. The Icon [9] is a tower in Limassol, Cyprus on the Mediterranean coastline. It is located at the tourist area of Yermasogeia. It contains 60 residences. The Icon is one of the tallest building in Cyprus. [10] [11] [12] At the entrance of the building there is a sculpture of the popular Wild Kong [13] series by the famous French artist Richard Orlinski.
Sunset Gardens [14] is the first gated residential community in Limassol. The development of the project started at 2021 and includes more than 300 apartments. One Limassol, otherwise known as simply One, is a high-rise apartment building in Limassol, Cyprus. Construction for the project was meant to begin in early 2016, but was pushed back to November 2017. It has a total of 38 floors and it rises to a height of 170 meters (558 ft.), making it the tallest building in Cyprus. One Tower was designed by Hakim Khennouchi architecte and Eraclis Papachristou Architects. Structural design was completed by Buro Happold Engineering and PPA.

Omonoia, is a quarter in the municipality of Limassol in the Limassol District of Cyprus. It is situated near the Port of Limassol. The quarter takes its name from the Omonoias Avenue. It borders Saint Spyridonas to the west and Agios Ioannis to the east. Many central avenues go by around Omonoia, namely Pafou Avenue, Omonoias Avenue, Franklin Roosevelt Avenue and Makarios Avenue, making it a high traffic area.

Presidential elections were held in Cyprus on 5 February 2023. No candidate received a majority of the vote in the first round, so a runoff was held on 12 February. Incumbent president Nicos Anastasiades of the Democratic Rally (DISY), who won the presidential elections in 2013 and 2018, was ineligible to run due to the two-term limit mandated by the Constitution of Cyprus.

The Alphamega Stadium, also known as Limassol Stadium for UEFA competitions, is a football stadium in Kolossi, Limassol District, Cyprus, and the home ground of the 3 biggest clubs of Limassol Apollon, AEL and Aris. With an all-seater capacity of 11,000, it is the second largest only football stadium and the fifth largest football stadium overall in Cyprus.
