Premise

A young actor finds himself in a cycle of nightmarish auctions. After multiple rejections, he takes it upon himself to find a part to play.

In September 2022, it was announced Nabhaan Rizwan, Amir El-Masry and Rory Fleck Byrne had joined the cast of the film, with Naqqash Khalid directing from a screenplay he wrote. [1]

Release

The film had its world premiere at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival on 1 July 2023. [2] [3] It also screened at Zurich Film Festival on 2 October 2023, [4] and the BFI London Film Festival on 13 October 2023. [5] [6]

On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes , 100% of 8 critics' reviews are positive, with an average rating of 7.20/10. [7]
