In Christianity, evangelism or witnessing is the act of preaching the gospel with the intention of sharing the message and teachings of Jesus Christ. It is sometimes associated with Christian missions.
Televangelism and occasionally termed radio evangelism or teleministry, denotes the utilization of media platforms, notably radio and television, for the marketing of religious messages, particularly Christianity.
Christian radio refers to Christian media radio formats that focus on Christian religious broadcasting or various forms of Christian music. Many such formats and programs include contemporary Christian music, gospel music, sermons, radio dramas, as well as news and talk shows covering popular culture, economics, and political topics from a Christian perspective.

He founded and was president of In Touch Ministries which widely broadcasts his sermons through television and radio. He also served two one-year terms as president of the Southern Baptist Convention, from 1984 to 1986.

Stephen F. Olford was an American evangelical leader. Billy Graham called him "the man who most influenced my ministry." Olford was also a friend to pastors Charles Stanley and Adrian Rogers, as well as being influential in the life of Jim Elliot. He was a pioneer in Christian television programming with his show Encounter, in New York, and his Sunday morning sermons were also broadcast around the world on radio. He was the founder and chairman of the board of Olford Ministries International. He also founded a pastor training center in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1988; the Stephen Olford Center is now owned and operated by Global Ministries Foundation. Olford's son David Olford continues training pastors and lay leaders in preaching at the center. Olford's authorized biography, Only One Life, was written by John Phillips.
Edward John Stetzer is an American author, pastor, and Christian missiologist. He is Dean and Professor of Leadership and Christian Ministry at Talbot School of Theology at Biola University. He also serves as Distinguished Visiting Scholar at Wycliffe Hall at Oxford University. Stetzer is Regional Director for Lausanne North America and editor-in-chief of Outreach. Stetzer has written for USA Today and CNN.
Gospel Outreach was a Christian Church which emerged in Northern California in 1970 as part of the Jesus movement. Originally located at Table Bluff, in Humboldt County, California, 4.5 miles (7.2 km) south of Fields Landing, at an elevation of 318 feet (97 m) on a bluff adjacent to the Pacific Ocean, the local movement still exists with a school and Church in Eureka, California which was completed in 2009, as well as three churches located in Portland, Oregon, Olympia, Washington, and Tacoma, Washington.
