Inside Olympia is a weekly Washington State public affairs TV show on the TVW network that began airing in 1998. [1] The show features in-depth, one-on-one interviews and panel discussions with major figures in Washington State government and public affairs, including state governors, executive cabinet-level agency leaders, state legislators, and labor union leaders. [2]

Inside Olympia has been hosted by Northwest News Network reporter Austin Jenkins since 2008. [1] [2] [3] From 2003 to 2008, the show was hosted by capitol reporter and later Washington State Public Disclosure Commission chair David Ammons, who took the place of TVW co-founder and later Lieutenant Governor of Washington Denny Heck. [4] The first host was Barry Mitzman, formerly of KCTS-TV. [5]

Lars Kristopher Larson is an American conservative talk radio show host based in Portland, Oregon. Larson worked in television and radio news from the 1970s to 1990s and has hosted The Lars Larson Show from flagship station KXL in Portland since 1997. Two versions of the show exist: the Northwest show airs from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. (Pacific) and discussing Pacific Northwest issues. TVW is Washington's public affairs network, providing gavel-to-gavel coverage of Washington State Legislature sessions and coverage of the Washington State Supreme Court and public affairs events. It is widely considered the model state level equivalent of C-SPAN. TVW was founded in 1993 by Stan Marshburn and Denny Heck, who was formerly Chief of Staff to Governor Booth Gardner, who served as the host of TVW show Inside Olympia, and who would later represent Washington in the United States House of Representatives, after which he would go on to serve as the Lieutenant Governor of the state.

RT America Part of the RT TV network that folded in 2022

RT America, also known as Russia Today, was a U.S.-based news channel headquartered in Washington, D.C. Owned by TV Novosti and operated by production company T&R Productions, it was a part of the RT network, a global multilingual television news network based in Moscow funded by the Russian government. The channel said it reached an audience of 85 million people in the United States, but this figure is disputed. It was distributed through select cable providers, over-the-top services, a live stream through its Web site, and three low-power digital subchannels. Since the channel's closure, viewers who tune into the cable channel or their live stream are being shown a live feed of an RT International broadcast instead.

Brian Lamb

Brian Patrick Lamb is an American journalist, Presidential Medal of Freedom Laureate, and the founder, executive chairman, and now retired CEO of C-SPAN, an American cable network that provides coverage of the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate as well as other public affairs events. Prior to launching C-SPAN in 1979, Lamb held various communications roles including White House telecommunications policy staffer and Washington bureau chief for Cablevision magazine. He also served as a commissioned officer in the United States Navy for four years. Lamb has conducted thousands of interviews, including those on C-SPAN's Booknotes and Q&A, and is known for his unique interview style, focusing on short, direct questions. Over the course of his career Lamb has received numerous honors and awards including the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the National Humanities Medal.

TRT World is a Turkish public broadcaster international news channel which broadcasts in English 24 hours a day, operated by the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) and based in Istanbul. It provides worldwide news and current affairs focusing on Turkey, Europe, Africa, and Western and Southern Asia. In addition to its Istanbul headquarters, TRT World has broadcasting centres and studios in Washington D.C., London, and Singapore. It is a member of the Association for International Broadcasting.

2022 Idaho gubernatorial election Election for Governor of Idaho

The 2022 Idaho gubernatorial election will take place on November 8, 2022, to elect the next governor of Idaho. Incumbent Republican Governor Brad Little, first elected in 2018, is seeking nomination for a second term. Republicans have won the previous seven elections.
