Isobel Cooper (born 24 January 1975), known professionally as Izzy, is an English operatic pop soprano singer.

Born in Much Wenlock, Shropshire, England, she trained at Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.

Her debut audio CD Libera Me was released in 1999. Other CD releases include Ascolta (2000), and New Dawn (2002).

A CD compilation titled Izzy (2003), that included a duet of "The Prayer," with American tenor Daniel Rodriguez, was released in the US, the CD also included a multimedia track of "My Love Is Like a Red Red Rose".

Two of her CDs reached the No. 1 position in the UK's Classic FM classical music chart. In 2000, she was nominated for a Classic Brit Award as "Female Artist of the Year".

In 2004, she was a featured artist on Now We Are Free , [1] a dance remix on CD and vinyl of the Gladiator film theme song by Lisa Gerrard. The disc was a UK No 1 dance chart hit and also reached No 19 on the UK Singles Chart. [2]

Her second dance track, "Eternity", by Matt Darey, was released as a 12" vinyl in November 2005. [3]

"Don't Say Your Love Is Killing Me" is a song by synthpop duo Erasure. It was released as the second single from their eighth studio album Cowboy. The track is an uptempo dance music song written by Vince Clarke and Andy Bell. Mute Records issued the single in the UK. For the song's release in the United States, Maverick Records requested a remix for radio. The U.S. single version of "Don't Say Your Love Is Killing Me" is quite different from what is on the Cowboy album. The song's intro was changed, as well as the middle eight section. Most notably, an entire verse, edited out of the album version, is restored on the American single release. On the UK singles chart, "Don't Say Your Love Is Killing Me" peaked at #23, ending a chart run of 24 consecutive Top 20 singles. It reached #89 on the German singles chart and did not enter the Billboard Hot 100. Smoke & Mirrors is a 2020 studio album by The Fizz, formerly Bucks Fizz. It is the third album by the group under the name The Fizz and the second as a threesome consisting of original members Cheryl Baker, Mike Nolan and Jay Aston. Released on 6 March 2020, the album entered the overall Official Albums Chart at No.29, the Official Album Sales Chart at No.6, the Official Vinyl Albums Chart at No.5 and the Official Independent Album Chart at No.3. Its Sales chart position of No.6 is the highest entry of any previous Bucks Fizz/The Fizz albums.
