Bishop Jacqueline E. "Jackie" McCullough (born January 14, 1950) is the founder and Pastor of The International Gathering at Beth Rapha. Bishop McCullough is also an author and a gospel musician. Her first album, This Is for You Lord, was released by Zomba and GospoCentric Records in 1998. This was a Billboard magazine breakthrough release upon the Gospel Albums and Christian Albums charts.

Early life

McCullough was born in Kingston, Jamaica, [1] on January 14, [2] 1950, [3] as Jacqueline E. Phillips. [4] She is the daughter of minister parents, who relocated her to New York City as a child. [1] [3] She was a registered nurse at Harlem Hospital Center, while she had aspirations of a medical career, potentially becoming a medical doctor in Pediatrics. [3] [5] At this time, she was in a domestically violent relationship with her now ex-husband, and during this timeframe she had a baby, but the baby did not survive. [3]

Education and philanthropy

McCullough would use these trials, as an impetus to further her walk with the Lord. She went on to postgraduate study at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. [3] Her Master's degree was earned at New York University in Philosophy. [1] She was bestowed her Doctorate degree in Ministry by Drew University. [1] She pastors and founded, The International Gathering at Beth Rapha that is located in Pomona, New York, along with being the President and founder of a non-for-profit, JEM Ministries. [1] McCullough serves as the Founding President of Beth Rapha Christian College and Theological Seminary, which is in Tampa, Florida. [1]

Bishop McCullough has authored 4 books: 105 Days of Prayer; Satisfaction of the Soul, a devotional entitled Daily Moments with God: in Quietness and Confidence; and her latest book, The Other Side of This, released in August 2012 from her own publishing company, Bright Light Publishing.

Music career

Her music recording career commenced in 1998, with her album, This Is for You Lord, and it was released by Zomba Records and GospoCentric Records on October 20, 1998. Trin-i-tee 5:7

Trin-i-tee 5:7 is an American gospel girl group formed in 1997. The original lineup composed of Chanelle Haynes, Angel Taylor, and Terri Brown-Britton. The group was launched into mainstream recognition following the release of their best-selling debut album, Trin-i-tee 5:7 (1998), which contained the top-charting gospel single "God's Grace". The album became certified gold. Despite critical and commercial success, the group experienced a lineup change when as Terri Brown left the group in 1999.

Dorinda Grace Clark–Cole is an American Grammy Award-winning gospel singer, songwriter, musician, talk show host, and evangelist. Clark–Cole is best known as a member of family vocal group The Clark Sisters and as a daughter of pioneering choral director Mattie Moss Clark. As a member of The Clark Sisters, Clark–Cole has won two Grammy Awards. She is known to the music world as the "Rose of Gospel Music".

RCA/Jive Label Group

RCA/Jive Label Group was a short-lived American record label group, owned by Sony Music Entertainment and representing the merger of the RCA Music Group and Jive Label Group. The umbrella group was formed in 2007 under the name BMG Label Group, was rebranded as RCA/Jive Label Group in 2009. In July 2011 it was finally dissolved into two separate labels: the RCA Music Group and Epic Records which took Jive subsidiaries until October 2011 when it retired Jive Records along with Arista Records and J Records. The artists on those three labels were moved to RCA Records.

GospoCentric Records is an Inglewood, California based Gospel music record label started as an independent label by Vicki Mack Lataillade and Claude Lataillade in 1993. The label rose to prominence in the 1990s largely on the runaway success of gospel artist Kirk Franklin. The label has grown to become one of the most prominent major gospel labels. GospoCentric later spawned the imprint B-Rite Music, which was used to launch artists like Trin-i-tee 5:7 and God's Property who found considerable mainstream success. GospoCentric was recently purchased by Zomba Music Group, which also owns major gospel label Verity Records. The label is currently owned by Sony Music Entertainment through RCA Inspiration.

The Soul Seekers is an American gospel music group signed to RCA Inspiration, through their affiliation with GospoCentric Records. The group consist of eight members, who are the following; Charlie Bereal, Craig Brockman, Teddy Campbell, Warryn Campbell, Gerald Haddon, Eric Seats, John "Jubu" Smith, and Nisan Stewart. In September 2000, the group started with a performance at Stewart's fathers church in Los Angeles that's Greater Emmanuel Temple Church. The first album came out in 2005, with GospoCentric and My Block Records, The Soul Seekers, and this would chart on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart. Their follow-up album released in 2010, Soul Seekers II, which charted on the aforementioned chart, along with the Heatseekers Albums chart.

Natalie Wilson, is an American gospel musician and artist. She started her music career, in 2000, with the release of Girl Director by Interscope Records. This would be her Billboard magazine breakthrough release upon the Gospel Albums and the R&B Albums charts. Her second album, Good Life, was released in 2003 by GospoCentric. The album would chart again on the two aforementioned charts.

Pastor Ruby Terry, is an American gospel musician and Christian R&B artist. She started her music career, in 1990 with the release of Chapter One by Malaco Records, and all of her released have been released by that label. Her second album, Live with the Southwest Louisiana Mass Choir, was released in 1992, and it was her breakthrough release upon the Billboard magazine Gospel Albums chart. The third album, What a Time, came out in 1994, and this release charted on the aforementioned chart. She released, God Can Do It, in 1996, yet this failed to chart.

Angelo & Veronica are an American urban contemporary gospel music husband and wife duo from Boston, Massachusetts, and they started their music recording careers in 1992. The duo released nine albums with five labels, with two of those albums charted on the US Billboard Christian Albums chart.
