Jaden Mangham is an American football safety for the Michigan Wolverines. He previously played for the Michigan State Spartans.

Early life and high school

Mangham attended Wylie E. Groves High School in Beverly Hills, Michigan. In his junior season he had 25 receptions for 450 yards and eight touchdowns. [1] Mangham was rated as a four star recruit, the 7th best prospect in the state of Michigan and ranked 285th overall in the 2022 national recruiting class. [2] Mangham held offers from Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State and West Virginia. [3] Mangham committed to play college football at Michigan State University. [4] [5]

College career

Michigan State

In the 2022 season, Mangham notched 20 tackles. [6] In the 2023 season, he started in ten games, recording 53 tackles, one for a loss, seven pass deflections, four interceptions and a fumble recovery. He was an honorable mention All-Big Ten selection by the coaches and media. [7] After the conclusion of the 2023 season, Mangham entered the NCAA transfer portal. [8] [9]

Michigan

On May 17, 2024 he transferred to the University of Michigan. [10]

Personal life

He is the younger brother of Jaren Mangham, who previously played at Colorado, South Florida and Michigan State as a running back. [11] [12]
