Robert Aitken "Bob" Rushworth was a United States Air Force major general,World War II,Korean War and Vietnam War pilot,mechanical and aeronautical engineer,test pilot and astronaut. He was one of twelve pilots who flew the North American X-15,an experimental spaceplane jointly operated by the Air Force and NASA. He flew 34 of the program's 199 flights,more than any other pilot.
John Michael Loh is a retired four-star general in the United States Air Force (USAF) who last served as Commander,Air Combat Command from June 1992 to July 1995. His other four-star assignment include being the 24th Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Force from June 1990 to March 1991,and Commander,Tactical Air Command from March 1991 to June 1992.
Charles Albert Horner is a retired United States Air Force four-star general. He was born in Davenport,Iowa and attended the University of Iowa,as part of the Air Force Reserve Officers' Training Corps program. On June 13,1958,Horner was commissioned into the Air Force Reserve. During the Vietnam War,he flew in combat as a Wild Weasel pilot and received the Silver Star. During Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm,he commanded the American Air Force,as well as those of the American allies. During the Desert Shield phase of the conflict,Horner briefly served as Commander-in-Chief —Forward of United States Central Command;while General Norman Schwarzkopf,Jr. was still in the United States. He currently serves on the board of directors for the United States Institute of Peace.

Carrol Howard "Howie" Chandler,is a retired United States Air Force four-star general. He last served as the 35th Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Force from August 27,2009,to January 14,2011. He previously served as commander of Pacific Air Forces from November 2007 to August 20,2009,and deputy chief of staff for operations,plans and requirements from October 23,2005,to November 29,2007. As vice chief,he presided over the Air Staff and served as a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Requirements Oversight Council and Deputy Advisory Working Group. He assisted the chief of staff with organizing,training,and equipping of 680,000 active-duty,Guard,Reserve and civilian forces serving in the United States and overseas. He retired from the Air Force by March 1,2011. In 2012 he joined Pratt &Whitney Military Engines as vice president for military business development and international programs.
Henry Alfred Byroade was an American career diplomat. Over the course of his career,he served in Egypt (1955–1956),South Africa (1956–1959),Afghanistan (1959–1962),Burma (1963–1968),the Philippines (1969–1973),and Pakistan (1973–1977). A 1937 graduate of West Point,he served in the China-Burma-India Theater during World War II,and oversaw the construction of airfields in India and in China for the Fourteenth Air Force and the Boeing B-29 Superfortress bombers of the Twentieth Air Force as part of Operation Matterhorn. After the war he was chief of staff to George C. Marshall with the Marshall Mission to China.

He is the deputy director of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory,where he also acted as the interim director from August 21,2021 to May 16,2022. He acts as the Laboratory's Chief Operating Officer responsible to the Director for the day-to-day management of JPL's resources and activities. This includes managing the Laboratory's solar system exploration,Mars,astronomy,physics,Earth science,interplanetary network programs,and all business operations. These activities employ 5000 scientists,engineers,technicians,and business support personnel,generating $1.8 billion in annual revenues. Prior to his current role,he served as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence,Surveillance and Reconnaissance,Headquarters United States Air Force. James' prior commands included the 14th Air Force and Joint Functional Component Command for Space from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.
Charles Lawthers Donnelly Jr. was a general in the United States Air Force who served as Commander in Chief,United States Air Forces in Europe/Commander,Allied Air Forces Central Europe from 1984 to 1987. Donnelly was also a fighter pilot in the Vietnam War. He died of cancer in Malcolm Grow Medical Center at Andrews Air Force Base on July 3,1994,at the age of 64.

Prior to his appointment,Brown served as the 22nd chief of staff of the Air Force from 2020 to 2023. Brown entered the Air Force in 1984 and served as a fighter pilot,where he has logged over 3,000 flight hours,including 130 hours in combat. He has commanded the Pacific Air Forces,U.S. Air Forces Central Command,31st Fighter Wing,8th Fighter Wing,U.S. Air Force Weapons School,and 78th Fighter Squadron. He has also served as deputy commander of the U.S. Central Command.
Herbert Jay "Hawk" Carlisle is a retired United States Air Force four-star general who last served as the commander of Air Combat Command,at Langley Field,Joint Base Langley–Eustis,Virginia. He also previously served as the commander of Pacific Air Forces while concurrently serving as air component commander for United States Pacific Command and executive director of Pacific Air Combat Operations Staff,Joint Base Pearl Harbor–Hickam,Hawaii. He officially retired from the Air Force on May 1,2017,with 39 years of service.

Remington is a retired United States Air Force lieutenant general who last served as deputy commander of United Nations Command Korea;deputy commander of U.S. Forces Korea;commander of Air Component Command,Republic of Korea/U.S. Combined Forces Command;and commander of 7th Air Force,from November 2008 to March 2012. During that assignment,he also served as the U.S. representative to the joint committee for the Status of Forces agreement between the two countries.
